Yes sensible money, and similar problems to other cars of that age , seats marked/stained, faded headlamps , curbed alloys . plus cracked front n/plate housing .

This backplate lip will be shiny at the very bottom , new back plates are not cost effective, just grind some of the lip away. Done it 3 of my Lexus cars 👍🏻

No regulation to say a tester can’t mot his own car . My old boss would not allow us to test our own cars, so I would test the other mot tested car at the garage and he would do mine 😉

The embossed logo is the same as my avatar, Toyota used it on their 70’s vehicles ….good to see it’s still alive in 2024 👍🏻…..well that or it’s very very old stock ! 😁😁😉

Took n/s/f front wheel off today and going to refurbish the inner rim. Outside rim is all good but inner is coated in 15 years of brake dust etc. Also gave the front suspension/brakes a coat of Furtan rust converter while I was there 👍🏻

The Reg number rings a bell but didn’t do a check on it or save a screen shot…does Look mint and an underside I’d love to duplicate on mine ….but never possible ☹️ Hinging on sensible money and condition wise it runs circles around others more expensive on AT. UPDATE.. Did make a note of the reg number, think it’s been flipped by another dealer of a few grand more ! 😠😠
