  1. 2004 model pair main manuals….. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142825490683
  2. Blimey these are a bargain …maybe I should have kept these to myself 😉 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152825899928
  3. There seems to be a genuine interest in the USA spec w/shop manuals here , guess a fair percentage of the contents would be relevant to UK cars. Will add what I feel is good value for money . Don’t think the year is too important for general repairs . These seem well priced with sensible postage …. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374450832167 Note…also open to sensible offers ! Please add anything I might have missed 👍🏻
  4. Yes one port behind the grill and the other near the top on the n/s inner wing .
  5. £60.00 Or was the question the charge of refrigerant ..750 grams 😉
  6. Not my gear…Mobile guy came to my home 👍🏻 As I was chatting with the guy I was thinking how does he know how much weight of refrigerant to put in…turns out it’s sitting on scales as he fills it 😎
  7. I was at a car show back in 2017 at Knebworth and Lexus has a display of their latest models, I sat in all the cars and was asked to do a questionnaire…..my reward was a genuine keyring 😎…….anyway I went back 3 times (different salesmen)😁😁 One went on my previous SC430, have one on my current car and one in reserve for a future Lexus 😉
  8. I have the brakes & suspension manual, that’s all I’m working on at the moment….like to get all the torque setting correct. EBay had a discount coded day a few weeks back and got it from the States , £86.00 inc p&p. Only other one I’m interested in is the engine manual but no rush .
  9. Another job crossed off the list …Air/Con topped up .
  10. Quick enlarge and brighten of rear of the car, its has twin after market exhaust boxes fitted…should sound nice without being over the top . That got to be worth £300-500 to the vehicles value.
  11. This thread would be a good read to get familiar with the SC430 👍🏻 The 2005 model you show above looks very tidy and presentable, parking sensors front and rear are a nice extra . Last years mot test commented on a rusty rear exhaust, I can see in the photos, it has an aftermarket stainless steel rear exhaust section (or maybe the whole thing)..you would need to ask to be sure . cracked tyres want replacing before you buy . The grey wheel refurbishment looks out of keeping with the car, so would look better back to silver. Interior looks very clean for its age and cream does take more effort to maintain over black. few cracks in the leather on the drivers seat , nothing a leather dye treatment wouldn’t fix . Ask the dealer if it’s had a timing belt and water pump . price is rather top heavy, yet good quality example can ask their own price . as I say have a read of this thread and you’ll be an expert …or at least an armchair expert 😁😉
  12. Repost your question here…. https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/145842-sc430-for-sale-chat/
  13. That’s because he’s not got off the floor laughing at the low offers 😉
  14. I asked about the w/shop manual the other week, price quoted was €400 plus shipping from The Netherlands …keep bidding guys 😉
  15. Mine needed a bit of a scrub, then made a pair of mats 😎 Oddly pockets are different sizes 😮
  16. Bet that was grubby on the underside 😮
  17. The self levelling headlamp control is on the near side front and rear suspension, this rod can break with age and give problems . \
  18. Not a problem I’ve come across but the self levelling control I’m sure would have no link with the headlamps not working . As Stephen says could be lack of use and moisture ….and has since dried out .
  19. Not at the back end. could check aerial in dry . high level brake light gasket is becoming more common to leak, would show up as a damp cover under the boot . as your car is garages young not going to see much .
  20. When the rear lamps are removed , there will be a big lump of wet muck around the clip in the channel . I also found the white push clips the lamps locate into.. drip water into boot .
  21. Trouble is they are child proof ! 😁😁😉
  22. …..If it looks like a standard O ring, buy yourself a set 👍🏻 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rubber-Sealing-Assorted-Assortment-Machine/dp/B07ZSDYX8G/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1OJ6ACWVTBDI3&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.TWGj8JgLLOZmbQcqU-D0wNcXZ7o6SZdikZ9x5goCOqzM7nbCGg4dHt3ciuaNulmASJXr621t00Lv66kpvj3uJWmOwtDIF0jwhVp9kq_LoS3nq5hT2yHKybNnqtL0jo6rR0WU3QH7nozTrOQAtIT1kYvQZlLUErzTJpkXmfd_HZV6CELiz6o79DWiSsk47NlWwNnTaedPFMYtTZFDpp-tAFlLu073dBCDzrWcQm4gKIKx4bARKv0Uz07XwauQZCYn-6mQlMeItw-s5b8qGWbwk74zkWo88QlEc2xAsKvdGQM.nQAKQAKnFOIRPChqm00yvJrcUOt0Jx9S49xkzRgd9tI&dib_tag=se&keywords=Set+O+rings&qid=1709729617&sprefix=set+o+rings%2Caps%2C75&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
  23. If it looks like a standard O ring, most car spare shops / motor factors would have a tray of different size O rings, pop into one and get them to matched it up . If it looks like a custom seal for that reservoir only, you’ll have to buy the whole thing from Lexus . have you got a photo of the underside of the reservoir ?
