  1. I've never had a problem with alloy dust caps sticking to the valve, they're generally stolen within a fortnight...
  2. Hi Fellas I've ordered a set of Goodyear GSD 3's and the guy has called my wife (I'm AWOL at the moment) asking if the car has been fitted with Goodyear before, because if not then some modification is required???? Modification to what?? Any answers on a postcard please. Thanks.
  3. Swimming instructor on the Rio Grande. Get a lot of return business. Todos los chalecos salvavidas esta libre...
  4. That's a real downer Marcus, but I know how you feel. Couple of the "young team" jumped on my roof at new year and I had to have a complete new roof skin fitted. Ten days it took. After some discreet detective work on my part, I stretched a pool cue across one guys coupon and spent a night in the nick for my trouble. Perp # 2 according to his mother is no longer living at home...how convenient, but I can wait. Some scum just can't help themselves.
  5. Couldn't honestly say off the top of my head mate, but be sure of it, I'll check when I get back to Blighty. At least my winning tyre combo is keeping the body shop guys in a job.
  6. Yokohama's on the front & Potenzas on the rear. Nearly lost it in the summer on a roundabout powering out, dry road. Did loose it a fortnight ago, wet road left hander, if the ground I landed in had'nt been so boggy I'd still be rolling now. Less lead on the right foot until next tire change I think.
  7. 600+ on the Prelude dropping to a more sensible 310 for the IS. Just another one of the benefits of living in Paradise!
  8. I would like to have attended but stuck in Mexico until 18th Feb or thereabouts, also approaching the 40,000 mile service so would have been a chance to have that seen to an' all. Hope the weather improves for you, frying my ***** here.
  9. C'mon guys wakey wakey, it's David Bellamy fer crissake! They've captured the world's leading authority on Pond Life.
  10. Man Fidgit's, yer jist a bairn... Happy birthday.
  11. No Gold. Oh dear, 'ow sad, never mind.
  12. I'd be happy to plump for a Drager if shipping was reasonable.
  13. Well, looks like I'm going for the used alloys with rubber attached. Thanks for the links guys.
  14. Gents, thanks a lot for all the info & prompt response re. 17" original replacements wheels. I'll email 'her indoors' and see what's the status with the party funds, which will dictate whether I get new or used. This 2nd marraige mullarky aint cheap y' know. Cheers
  15. Cheers Bazza I see a couple of possibilities in there but it's really the originals I'm after. However beggars can't be etc etc.... Thanks

    Newbie

Hi All. Some speeding nugget in a Laguna wrote off my beloved Prelude couple of wks ago on the day I was getting married. After returning from the honeymoon & with only a day before I shipped out again for Mexico I had to find a replacement for the new missus ( a replacement car ). Went looking for another Honda and came back with a Lexus is200 S. Great car but imagine my despair when after reading up on it I discovered that there was an SE & Sport model too.....too late. Great car but frankly the standard 16" alloys are pure pants compared with the 17" ones. Look like something off an old Rover 214 or whatever. Anyone know if there are a set for sale or even how much I might expect to shell out for new ones? Any help will be much appreciated. Really good forum by the way.
