  1. How big, and how classy do you want it? I've got one you can have, but it's not that big, wooden side panels etc...but it does have two new tyres. Let me know if your interested Stew

  5. I think that the mobile units use a slightly different technology, so they wouldn't be picked up by a detector. The one they used on TV the other night , just fires a laser at the vehicle, and then receives one back to the hand held device. I had a detector in my jeep, but still got done by a mobile unit Although it was an old detector unit, I'm not too sure about the newer type!
  6. Mines around the £1300 mark, i think a lot of it depends on whether your a Labour or Conservative borough

  10. Matt What happened to the poll for this months car then? Or is it an April fools joke your playing? I thought that LS stood for Luxury sedan not "Less Serious" than an "IS" :D :D :D Stew ;)
  11. My car tends to sit high at the back anyway (look at pics in "the garage")...At the moment i'm running 245/45/18's on the rears, and 245/40/18's on the front with pressures at about 38psi.. I think i tend to agree, that the springs are knackered, but fear the cost of replacing them and the shocks....ouch! Stew
  12. Yeah, thats worth a try, it s definitely not the calipers Stew
  13. Well why not, Matt, anyones game! Stew :D
  14. I haven't seen a poll, to vote for the next Garage car of the month yet? surely it must be the LS's next.... If i've missed it i'm sorry, but i can't seem to see it anywhere? Stew
  15. Hi All Ever since putting my 18's on my LS, i have a series of problems... first of all they rubbed on the plastic inner arches, that was sorted. But now when the car is fully laden it seems to ground at the rear, all the time. Initially, it was all at the front, so i dropped the front's tyre profile, that sorted that! but now it's all at the back. I did post a topic on shocks, but i need to know, whether, it's simply the wheel size (and everyone gets this, when they uprate their wheels), or i need to look at new springs and shocks? Cheers Stew
  16. Looks like our kinda movie, gorgeous, don't it.... Anything with a national lampoon tag, has got to be good, right x Stew
