  1. I just picked one up for £1100 and its very very good for the money, interior is very good, not mint, but very good, externally its very good origional paint, a few car park dings but ill pop them out. The motor is very strong, and gearbox is brilliant, and its for 164,000 on the clock. Suspension is spot on aswell. And mountains of paperwork to go with it it just needs a wheel bearing and ill put a cam belt on it for peice of mind. id say look for cars with lots of service history and buy with ur head... not ur heart and u wont go far wrong. sound like u really hit yourself a jackpot... would love to see your ride (picture) sweet :zee:

  11. By doing the pedal dancing move :zee: to re-programme/ re-recongnised the key remote? i've look under the boot key lock, didn't see any harness connection to it. or it's under the catch hook??
  12. speaking of boot lock. do all the boot lock mechanisms are the same regardless what model is200 we have.... cuz the remote boots release will be affected if breaking the lock i've a 3 button remote but the boots not open (even the press holding) or my boots lock mechanisms is missing something? anyone with picture would be great so i know what to look for.....

  15. Smashing the rear window is no good if the car is double locked, as you won't be able to unlock any doors if it is. so unless you fancy squeezing through the rear door window - onto a rear bench covered in broken glass, which will 1) hurt and 2) scuff the leather - I'd smash the front window, and simply lean down, pop the boot and retrieve the key. then you can unlock the car, and hoover out the glass, meaning no damage to the leather. And if you've got fully comp ins you've more than likely got glass cover, so £50/£60 for a new window fitted sorry i didn't mention early it wasn't my current is200 but good to know what i'm suppose to do if it happen (sorry again) yes i agree Steve said... shud ring up the breakdown service / locksmith before breaking anything
  16. did once had the same situation... only one key remote havta break the rear passenger window... and find a replacement at car breaker
  17. leather, had an old leather bag sitting gather dust mind as well recycle it.
