Hi everyone. Has this happen to anyone or know how to fix it? Been shower all day and while half way journey back from work the wiper stop respond. Had to stop some where for the rain stop Hope anyone could help me here. Thanks

always check the timing belt. they told me it's a brand new belt when i bought my is200. when i open the belt cover... it's eaten half of it... lucky it didn't snap on the motor way. over all...i'm happy with it... :) welcome to LOC

I had my disc and pad changed yesterday but today the sound back again... anyone had their problem solve?? where could it be coming from?

did u check the fuse under the passenger side? -
open the top stereo cover where you can see the lens... clean it ( I use fine cotton with my gf cleans lotion :P ) job done... work just fine by the way... u got a is200 to break... does it has a arm rest? been looking every where for it... beside getting a brand new ones

I got my water pump replace recently... but it's look like the the old water pump use to have a centre cap on but after i got back the car.... looks like it's not there anymore exposing the the middle sub... is that safe?

I had my timing belt and water pump changed today. question... they remove the metal cap where the four nuts secure the water pump but they didn't put it back... is that ok?

As for the cd stereo.... actually it's really a straight forward thing... take out the unit... removed the cover and clean the lens. I use my gf "cleansing toner" with soft cotton and IT WORKS.... now it's play any burns cd's format. I myself just recently bought a IS200 Sport of 2001(after many months of searching ) .... it's an old car just need to take to garage for the timming cambelt changed now. I'm not an expert on this but this is what i do when I bought my Is200 and a lot of tips from LOC :P

Thanks everyone Its now done 160k changed round 140k that what shown on the label on front body frame in 2006.Guessing It shud have some life span left as there's no rubber crack on the belt beside those grinded bits on the side. Just wondering what really causing it that's all. It's a old car but still in good condition (no knocking sound ....haha :P ) Will take ur advised ... will take the public transport from monday Good thing I took off the cover and found out this soon...again... Thank you all

whenever you type in "lexus is200" on google search bar it's direct you to this site. problem is that alot of D.I.Y owner (save £££) sake come here for advise. it wound be helpfull if shown more picture to the people beside that EXCELLENT job done here

Try local japanese car breakers for ur type of model or ebay search.

It's looks like something grinding it from the inside. Posible from previous technical fitting. Don't this happen again after i changed the timming belt. Did call up garage for the parts to get the actual price. You right there mate... Thanks

You could use a universal arm rest sell on ebay Item number: 270865097386. it's looks not good as the origin arm rest but i think this will do mate
