It happen to me when I bought the car. Ended taking the whole lens out n tape the wire harness with plastic bag from getting wet. Give it a good clean as the old parts will break if forcing it hard. Just gently twist left right n it will turn. Good luck :)

Hi welcome did first check the fuses? check if the back harness is not connected properly/loose as previous owner have replace/removed stereo from the car you can search topic how to remove the center console

if you can hear squeaking sound when the engine running idle then it might be the serpentine belt .. don't use the belt spray as it wont do much help and end up messing the engine bay. I've changed all three serpentine belt last winter and solve the squeaking as it's driving me crazy everytime the engine start. Might wanna check any pressure fault if you changed the oil and the problem not solve

Bet every IS200 owner have gone through this issue many many time.... Anyone have others solution than changing the ECU which cost more than the car??? A key master could have a "hidden" solution to make a duplication key remote or a "gadget" that can hack into it.... i know it's a stupid question but i'm sure some might think it worth the try.....

Hi there's few forum which show you how to remove the center console. from there you need to open up the heater controller box to get into the bulb. reason the light gone all together because the bulb circuit board don't run their power individually (backlit light bulbs)as i've tested it years ago (mod) nothing to worries about m8 just changed the bulb and it's all back to normal. can't remember what type of bulb as again you can search around or just take one of the bulb to local maplin$$$ and they will sort you out with replacement 12v bulbs or £bay if you want something different good luck

Maybe the back metal plate that cause the grinding sound. Look underneath the black plate n gave it a little push or take off the wheel to see better which part cause the grinding sound Not 100% sure but it worth the try

It's a common fault usually it's the rubber seal or the water drain pipe. Take off the side cover off n see if the pipe is loose.

gave it a good maintain service and will serve u many more years to come mine 167.000 miles and still going strong. just pass MoT with flying colors :zee: sweet.....

Extremely difficult as various insurers work to different parameters. Age, occupation, postcode, mileage, vehicle, are some but insurers seem to assume different risk factors for the same factors. My GS430 is insured with Churchill and when I renew mid October it will be £291 fully comp, £350 total excess.By far the best for my details but they might not be for you. Comparison sites are expensive generally so I would spend time on the net or on the phone contacting various insurers. spot on.... unless u paying in high excess (few years NCB) and install black-box from insure company on to your Lexus sport to monitor all your driving movement. You'll be looking around £1000ish if you recently bought the car. I might be wrong but that's what i'm paying now on Tesco insurance... (just changed to it) Direct**** was really too much after 3 years with them and the price never drop below £800..... check few car insurer or set up a monthly payment if annual payment is too much for you.... they all rip-off... and what can we do about it keeping the police from chasing us for not insuring our vehicle :tsktsk:

Bummer ..... means i need to set back to stock condition if i had an air intake mod or a turbo charger install for the annual MoT test ..... how bout rear fog brake light and push start button mod??
