Hi Guys, I have a 60mm SARD boost gauge to install, but I have no idea where to put it. Im willing to sacrafice a vent, but they are Oval (Not like the S15, perfect for gauges) I wouldnt mind the a pillar gauge holder, but cant seem to find any.. Any suggestions guys?? Where have you put yours?

I would be interested in this too, unless of course this is not available to Aussie members :(

Hey guys, I was thinking, why dont we have a detailed tech section?? I use to own a Supra, and on the Supra forums, plenty of technical features with detailed pics, ie, spraying the backing of the headlights, putting into the oven etc etc. i think, if we all put our knowlege together, we could learn alot, like the tutorial on the "Foglight to Brake conversion" that was great (Although, I still went wrong somewhere!) Suggestions???

Hmm, I used 3 Diodes as per the instructions. First I used the 2m cable i bought, connected that to the green and white wire connection to the lh brake light. I then placed the Diode just ontop of that connection. Opened up the plastic on the boot arm, found the fog light wires (Green and Yellow I think) tepped into them with the cable, and then placed the other 2 Diodes ontop of those connections. Sound ok to you guys??

In Australia, the Lexus V8 (1UZFE) is readily available, and getting more and more pupular for killer conversions! There is a place here in Sydney who have bellhousings to suit V160 or W58 from the JZA80 that will bolt right up to the 1UZFE. The 1UZFE is miles ahead of our Holden and Ford V8's, which do punch out alot of power, but in terms of reliability and strength, nothing beats the 1UZFE!!!

My standard diff "bangs" I think its a Toyota trade mark lol!! I bought an LSD off a JDM Altezza, I havent installed it yet, but the gear is 4.11 perfect for drag :D This will go in, once the 1JZGTE goes in :D

I bought some MY02 STi seats recently, tried to put them in, but the rails are totally different!!! Also, the airbag lights would stay on. Are there any rails for the IS200??

I did this to my Supra. Basically, Pre-Heated the Oven, put in headlights for 5 mins (Scary I know) makes the glue melt, so you can take apart, then took the chrome backing to a pro to spray them. Put headlights back in oven to melt glu again, then stuck on plastic cover and Voila! I know, breif explanation, but im at work!! lol. For more Info, check out www.mkivnet.co,nz Worked a charm! ;) In another forum, some people compared a custom set of 4-pot Wilwood and the standard GS (i.e. the same as the IS) calipers, and they found out that the stopping power of the standard calipers better was than the Wilwood 4-pot. Really?? hhaha! Damn, lucky I havent bought them!! I heard the IS is the same as Soarer, both caliper and disc! If it is, Ill just keep them!! Although, the standard brakes are great, I do feel a little fade when racing in the mountains, but maybe im comparing too much with my Supra.

Hey guys, went to a specialist to get my TEINS loked at. Bit of a TIght **** company, they just popped the hood, tightened the gold bolts, which they said were alrready tight. But there is STILL knocking, and its really annoying. Any other suggestion guys?? Also, car bloody shakes at 110km+/hour, the steering doesnt, im not sure what the go is here! The wheels are only 5 months old, and were blalanced, do you think it needs a new balance? As I said, the steering wheels doesnt shake, but I can feel my legs and ***** shake haha, also, alighnment is spot on. Could it be the Teins??? Im really worried that Im to wasting $3500 here!!

When I went for a ride in a friends IS300 with the same kit as mine, it was beutiful!! This knocking is similir to a a loose engine mount knock!! I will try and tighten the nuts!
