Congrats with the LS400 and welcome :). Please post some pics. Where are you located? I personally whould not buy chrome wheels. Chrome wheels are easily damaged and are difficult to repair. I know since I had them on my GS. For performance, you could consider getting a new exhaust for better flow and sound, probably get a freeflow airfilter. If you really have the money you can also consider a Blitz Turbo/SC kit, but it will cost you, since these are expensive .

What model year is your GS? If it is the current one, there is something called the Winter mode. In the Winter mode the wipers do not go back under the bonnet. (for snow etc ... purposes). You can use a little force to click/bend the wiper arms back to the normal mode. Don't be afraid, just hold tight to the wiper arm, and .... click, done :) PS this is for the current GS version (mk 2). Not sure if this is also true for the mk1?

I am sending everything from HK, so I cannot handle the VAT stuff. The only thing I can do is to the that these parts are warranty replacement parts :) and no value? Can try. I send out many stuff, but up to now (luckily?) no one was taxed :). For the other brands, yes, instead of the TRD flywheel I can get the JUN flywheel as well, same delivery leadtime. I need to check for the cost for the JUN. For the Helix, i just do not have the information. I am the JDM parts guy, not the UK parts guy :)

Most parts are the same, except probably engine parts. And yes, there are many more RX in the US :)

Hi, where are you located? I can source RX330 parts for you, like grilles, exhausts, shocks, taillights, ... Need to know what you are looking for. If you send me your email, I can email you some pics.

Did you check if you left some lights on? Like the glove box or some other mods/accesoiries. These lights do not use a lot of power, but if your battery is almost empty, it may still drain it. Did you install any aftermarket parts, e.g. alarm, ... Probably it was not installed properly. How often do you drive your car? If you only make short trips, your battery may not get the chance to charge completely. I would by a battery checker, that can be plugged into your car lighter, such that you can monitor the battery status. In addition, to give yourself some more peace of mind, you can buy some emergency battery charger(some can be only used once), the current ones are very small, and not too expensive. Start monitoring your battery for a few weeks, and if the battery is deteriorating go back to the dealer or find another dealer. Remember you have the top Lexus and you should demand top service.

I think you probably need to pay customs duty. But I can put a much lower price on the invoice.

Steve, you mean Soarer? :) :) :) Yes, the NSX is a difficult to maintain beast. I have seen several slightly wrecked NSXs at some junk yards. Since the car has an Aluminium frame, it is very difficult to repair.

the cost of these mods are kept as low as possible, since it uses the original part and then refinishes it. Perhaps some sort of a loan program can be implemented. If people want to buy outright, there are only 2 options, 1) buy need parts and refinish these and sell these parts, or buy an used part and refinish.

Too bad there are not a lot of IS200 interior parts that can be refinished :(

Depends what you want to do with your car and how many other cars you have :) All the other cars are 2-seaters and will offer less comfort (except the SL). In addition, if you are not going to mod your next car (i.e. that you are willing to put a lot of extra money to replace old/worn parts, ...). Remember that your existing car is a 2002, all the other cars are at least 4 - 6 years older.

Well, CF is not everyones taste. I contacted the shop and asked what else they can offer: LS400 window controller panel - brushed Aluminium look - Matte sample Brushed Aluminium - Glossy sample Glossy Aluminium - sample Black wood/marble sample and more, like the 'ordinary wood' ... Their finishing quality is excellent, but it requires original parts :o to get the refinished parts.

If there is enough interest, I can organize a GB. Since the size of the packing is bigger than the max. size allowed by the post office, I need to find a way to send these over. One option is to combine all the exhausts together, and then send them using a freight forwarder. We could send everything to one single UK address and then redistribute them from there. Who is willing to be this redistribution point :) ? Steve? I estimate that it will only make sense if we can find at least 4 people. Let me know. :P

Richard, let me know about any parts you want. A new supplier was offering me a STB for approx. Euro 135 and told me that it should fit. Also, I will receive some sets of GS300/400/Aristo grilles very soon, and will post some pics of them soon. Send me a pm.

currently, the price for the HKS Hiper (HiPower) is USD315 and the HKS Super Drager is USD280. This is excluding shipping. Shipping is at actual cost (and may be the an issue).

I still can source some HKS Hiper and Drager exhausts for the Altezza. I believe these are the same as you are mentioning. Some other LOC members asked me about these, and I am now trying to find the most economical way to ship them. It is not the weight, it's the size of the packing. :o
