  1. For anyone interested in what may happen in a PDI (pre delivery inspection) I have found (by accident) a US document for PDS (pre delivery service). https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10207955-9999.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj3uPeGpKT-AhXQFsAKHUnlAJAQFnoECCkQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1M7o6NQhogwm7eEPVO6RBa Also found a dismantling manual for the NX350h ! https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.lexus-tech.eu/HYBRID/HVDM/EN/nx350h_AAZH20,25.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj3uPeGpKT-AhXQFsAKHUnlAJAQFnoECC4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw2fmDeNXv-YWbwurpizuVm7
  2. I am hoping that the used price for an IS300h remains 'high' as I will be selling my fully loaded IS300h Premier when my new NX350h arrives. Sorry purchasers, just my situation. I have noticed that the guide price on parkers.co.uk for my car is only about 500 pounds less than what it was in February last year, so second-hand value that are holding up very well at present.
  3. What has your dealer said? Or maybe contact lexus customer relations direct?
  4. Hi Deb, what did you order compared to what is available now? Michael.
  5. Just noticed that list prices have changed today on the lexus.co.uk website, a NX350h Takumi increased by £1,125, so not as much as previous price rises.
  6. My IS300h, zero rattles in almost 10 years with 219,000 miles.
  7. Hi Tom, I ordered my NX350h Takumi on the 12/2/22, app still showing 'Order in progress'. The last update from the dealer was mid Q2(i.e. Next month), but I emailed lexus customer relations and they have indicated an eta of October 23. I suggest contacting them, they were very helpful, also stating that my car would be a MY24 spec. cr@lexus.co.uk Michael.
  8. My original due date was Aug 19th last year, so did not really expect to still be driving my 2013 IS300h with 220,000 miles on the clock. Mind you it still drives like new.
  9. My takumi has been 58 weeks so far since order on the 12th of Feb 22
  10. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your 350h, mine is hopefully due October
  11. I have negotiated discounts off my current IS300h purchased new in 2013 and my NX350h Takumi order placed Feb 2022, no trade in car in either purchase.
  12. I was only offered it as I complained about the delay at the time.
  13. I have been promised it when I get my car but it's £500 off service plan cost.
  14. I agree Malcolm that UK specs do differ and always have done. For instance in the US you can have power folding rear seats on the new NX, but not on UK spec.
  15. I have a NX350h Takumi on order and Lexus customer services have told me that it will be a MY24 when built. As far as I can tell, all cars built from 2nd March are to the MY24 spec.
  16. Been looking for info on the MY24 NX. On the lexus.jp website they state:_ "Thank you for considering our vehicle. NX has temporarily suspended accepting orders, but has resumed accepting orders from March 2, 2023." MY24 production started March 2023, link below shows owners manuals with dates valid. https://manual-lexus-jp.translate.goog/nx/?_x_tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc From the toyota global newsroom we have the below press release (thank you to google translate), some interesting points are:- 1) Looks like 20" wheels will now be fitted with non-runflats and will be painted differently ? 2) Looks like the 'Remote Park' function is now available 3) Looks like they will now use the integrated front and rear cameras to have a built in 'dashcam' system called a drive recorder. link to info below is :- https://global-toyota.translate.goog/jp/newsroom/lexus/38828853.html?_x_tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc Also some interesting details on the MY24 NX here if you can use google translate:- https://lexus.jp/models/nx/ ########################################################## Review from the basic performance of the car"Lexus Driving Signature"Deepening Steering stability and ride comfort have been improved by improving the rigidity of the body and adjusting the suspension settings accordingly. 17. Another thing to note about delivery ETAs, just 2 weeks ago:- Dealer - still said May Lexus customer services - said October I know who I believe!
  18. Happy for you! My NX350h ordered 9 days before you has an ETA of October '23, Takumi spec cars are very delayed!
  19. On lexus.co.uk Click on: new cars, NX, scroll down and select engine ( i did NX350h AWD), click on model (I did Takumi), then scroll down to view the message (just before the dimensions), click on 'read more'. Link here if it works:- https://www.lexus.co.uk/new-cars/nx/overview.NX.212.3014ed30-821b-4669-b9ab-04008e441df5
  20. Not too sure when this message appeared on the lexus website or how far back it refers to previously placed orders, but it now seems that the price at the order point is possibly not the price you will end up paying.
  21. Just had an update email this morning from Lexus customer relations regarding my NX350h Takumi ordered 12th of February 2022. "I can now advise that your vehicle order will definitely be a MY24 when it does get matched, meaning it will benefit from the new specification. However, we have still not been able to get a matched or confirmed build date for your order and have been advised that based on your order position in the queue for the NX Takumi model, realistically we are now looking at an estimated delivery date of around October 2023. (could be subject to change)" So good news about getting a MY24 spec car, and not so good news about possibly getting it 20 months after ordering it. Swings and roundabouts as they say.
  22. Has anyone found out when cars destined for the UK will start to be built to the 2024 spec ? Will existing '22/'23 orders not yet built end up being a 24 spec car?
  23. Are you pressing set and 1 buttons together for long enough? A few seconds were needed on my IS300H.
