mines velvet black, i spoke to the guy who did my tints for me and he did mentioned that it might not stick so well because of the fact that the light has a sharp edge on it, so not sure what will work best, or i can get them sprayed but the thing with that is that its permanent and lexus parts are not exactly cheap lol

Just a quick question, i wanted to know if it was possible to smoke tail lights on 220d with light tint film, was a bit worried about the sharp edges the tail lights have, whether it would stick properly or not? Maybe some of you have done this well on your motors already? Thanks

I have 18" 8j alloys on mine and they are fine, et45 i believe, 245/40 on the rears and 225/40 on the fronts, however i am looking to get spacers for them as they are sitting too far inside the car! but this will all be done after lowering it

I ordered a set of H&R springs, waiting for delivery, Ive read some good reviews about them and they are the lowest you can go with regards to springs.

I always thought there was meant to be a flick on the left side of the beams for it to be acceptable for MOT, i wasnt sure if this would pass MOT or not :(

Just put HID's in my headlights, H11, noticed that my beam pattern has changed and was wondering if this was normal?

So i take it H&R springs which lower by 35mm will require camber adjustment? if so would you know whether it would require camber adjustment all round or just front or rear?

Thanks for your help, so if i was to go around 30mm lower instead of 50mm, would i still need camber adjustment? Im really stuck with whether or not i should just go with springs now instead of coilovers lol

Hi there, i wanted to lower my 220d, but wasnt sure how well it would work, i was looking at going about 40 to 50mm lower than stock height as its sitting on 18" and theres quite a bit of gap in the arches. I just wanted to know how badly this will affect the tyre wear and other things that could be of a disadvantage, im clearly aware that the ride will be much stiffer but apart from that. The coilovers that i was looking to buy were the BC BR coilovers if that helps Hope someone will be able to help me

Ok so ive got my eyes on a set of Rota P1's in bronze colour. They are 18" and 8j et 45.. But i just cant decide whether or not they will suit the car. I have a black is-220d. All opinions welcome and would be appreciated! :D

So ive seen a set of wheels and cant quite figure out what brand they are and their on ebay, hopeing one of you guys could shine some light, lol. Wanted to find the specs but couldnt seem to find them anywhere online!

lol, because its a lot cheaper than doing a 250 conversion seeing as there is no need to replace the rear bumper and the 250 exhaust is quite dear in price itself too, if the is200 exhaust is a straight fit then why not? :)

sorry for the late reply, i didnt realise anyone posted on this forum, there are many guides on how to get the sub out of the rear deck, but unfortunately it does involve removing the back seats which is a bit of a pain
