My boot spoiler ordered from eBay arrived this morning..... :-) Just emailed the spray painter for a quote to colour code it. Question : the spoiler seems like one needs to bend it to a bit follow the contour of the edge of the boot. Will this cause the paint on the spoiler to crack once its painted? (the spoiler is made of rubber which can be easily bent) Attached are pics of the spoiler in question

I do 90% town driving and get around 330-345 miles per tank....mostly bad traffic

Hey Andy... I bought 225's a few days after I bought the car, so cannot really compare to the 215's. I have no issues with grip in both went and dry weather....but then again, I don't exactly have a high performance car. :-) I felt the 225's look a bit better as they are slightly wider....no issues with rubbing even on full turn....and my car is kinda low as well.... I'd say fit 225's instead of 215's... They didn't cost any more as well...

I'm running a set of these for these for a year. (225/45/17)They are awesome tyres with great grip and are nice and quiet.

Hi Ryan, Sorry, I forgot to update you in this thread. Instead, I added the pics to my existing thread. ( http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/87738-new-pics-of-my-is200/page-4 ) Anyway, I didnt take any pics during the install, but took a pic of the speaker I used. Perhaps you could get the same ones - they fitted perfectly in the stock locations and sound pretty decent too! Some day time pics of the head unit.......and the 6X9's in the stock location

So, my trim plate and harness arrived from the UK on Friday. Did the head unit replacement yesterday. Unfortunately, the finish of the trim plate is not what I would wanted....but it's not as bad as the flash on the phone makes it look in the photo below. Need to still further tweak the display to match my interior. The new head unit sounds absolutely awesome and the Bluetooth calling and streaming function works a treat!

Here in SA we didn't get headlight washers either....and sunroofs are a rare sight. No cloth seats in SA though....but no manual is300 either :-( -
Cool - looking forward to the pics with the spacers on. Would be nice if you can can post before and after pics when you fit the spacers as I also considering fitting spacers on my stock wheels.

Thanks for that Andy - could you post pictures so we can see what the wheel gap looks like on Eibach springs? Also, what shocks do you have?

Those are weights ......used to correct any balancing issues on a wheel.

I live in SA and there is no need for heated seats! I've tested then, but never used them. -
