I seen loads of these new 6 series since last Sunday and every one makes me think: How boring! When I heard they were gonna re-release it I thought they would have an open book to produce an amazing car! I walked through the airport car park (where there is currently 4 of them! 3 of 'em black!) with a couple of female colleagues and asked them for an opinion, they both said it looks like a Capri!! The back is just a mass of metal and the interior is nothing special. I'm sure the 4.5 litre engine goes like stink, but thats not everything! What do you all think of it?

Oh bugger! The girlie's exhaust is blowing, told her she could borrow mine for the Haunted Hotel visit! I must try to get it fixed tomorrow arvo, the she can take her own! If not I could try for Saturday morning and turn up in a Rover 200! Fingers crossed!

Hi guys! Just looked back into this thread and realised it's the weekend the girlie is off to stay in a Haunted Hotel with her (female) chum! Seems I should be able to make it after all! Surely this sight is only known at LOC meets?! Luton Airport Short Term car park currently has two Scarlatti IS300's sitting patiently for their owners to come back from their important meetings or holidays! The shock though, is that neither had LOC stickers in their windows!! So I flyered them!! :winky: Was it you?!

They are not that different, the SE's will have been new in March and I replaced my fronts around the same time! The SE does have different tyres, can't remember what they are, mine are Toyo T1-s's. Both 17". Shouldn't make such a noticeable difference as it is though.

I'm currently driving an 04 plate SE. Its a courtesy car from Oxford. The steering is considerably lighter than my 51 plate Sport. Is this due to it being newer or being an SE? I prefer the heavier steering in mine, but that might just be because I'm used to it! The suspension is also alot softer, but I assume that is due to the Sport having a different suspension set-up, i.e. 15mm lower etc. Any thoughts?

I'm a bit of a traditionalist and have always frowned upon gas powered bbq's. Charcoal gives a far superior flavour and its just how its done! But, many people I've spoken to recently swear by gas bbq's. They are much easier to light, you can turn them up and down as you wish, you use less coal and they, allegedly, do give the food the same flavour! Apparently this is due to the fats dripping on the coals and burning off. If gas bbq's really do taste as good, I think I may have to invest in one! Let me know what you think!
