  1. I can't see any current scoob owners wanting this. They have taken all the character and aggressive styling out of the car. It looks like a normal ish car now. More evo like to be honest. Interior is ok though. Just seems to be aimed at a different market to the older model. Don't like it.
  2. Found a place local to me called...wait for it.... East Coast Styling....Shoddy name bud seem very good. They have worked on some very nice cars indeed. Will be popping to see them on 21st to get a quote for the wheels, callipers, tints and some minor touch up's. Stu
  3. Yeah did callipers in the past but didn't look that good. Ill probably get a person/company to do them and then as you say apply the decals. Stu
  4. Didn’t get a call so called the garage and they had the result of my claim. No idea why they didn’t call me :megaangry: Anyway, the claim was for 2 wheels with bubbling around the centre cap, and 4 callipers with paint flaking at various degrees of severity. Result - £3,500!!!! Lexus said they would pay £1000. Reasons...They don’t re-coat callipers so all new ones required. Also, the ISF wheels are not a part of the wheel scheme so 2 new wheels would be required. FOOK THAT!!! I asked if they would cover the wheels being referbished biut was told as they had been done before they would not. Even thhough the offered £1K towards the total bill if i did that. Got put in touch with their chose wheel company so getting a quote from them. Will look for a indy to sort the callipers i think. Stu
  5. Welcome fella. That's a lot of cars!!! What were your favourites??
  6. Usually either more than 5 or 10 for discount. Ill call and get detail closer to the time fella. Would be good to get a few of us there. Not just ISF's as well. Stu
  7. Was going to put up a thread nearer the time to see if folks were up for it. Ill be going to AMD in Thurrock. Supposed to be really good place. Only deal with VAG tuning so be good for them to see some real Jap performance :) http://www.amdtuning.com/index.cfm
  8. Run what you brung??? What figures did you achieve? Do you just stick it in sport and go or do you paddle shift?
  9. Mine won't allow you to amend while driving so definitely the old disc. Winds me up! That's reason enough to upgrade. Does it allow you to use phone functions while driving or is that separate? Stu
  10. Worked at old trafford when at uni. Arsenals season is going well .... So far! Used to play off 12 but that was a loooong time ago now. Played off 20 last year. Only got out 4 times. Played 1-2 times a year previous 4 years! Refreshed all my clubs last year and plan to get to 18 this year. Stu
  11. I support arsenal chap and also like golf but am a fair weather golfer :)
  12. Just wondered if anyone has. Be interesting to see how close it is to the claimed 417hp. I plan on doing mine but will be after intake and exhaust. I am not expecting any gains but be interesting to see how close it is to the 417hp Stu
  13. Be good to have a look once you have them. You still going with whifbitz for your system?
  14. That does sound cheap...too cheap??? Do they simply wrap the parts you send so not full carbon? Have to say, it does look good. The fog surrounds will just get pebble dashed with stones fella. May not be worth the effort for those.
  15. Clearly we all like cars! Just wondering what other interests folks have? Personally i love motorbikes. Got my licence 3 years ago (was a life ambition) and bought a 2006 Ninja C1h. That was stolen so replaced it with a GSXR 750 K6. Love road riding but cant get enough of track days. 6 and counting. I feel a track bike coming along next year :) I also recently got interested in watches. Now this can empty your pocket far more quickly than i ever imagined! I am no expert but just love looking at watches from all manufacturers. Bought a couple of nice watches this year and plan to add to the collection at some point. I only have 4 at the moment. Two sentimental pieces. One given to my by my wife and one by my father. I then added a daily wearer longines conquest sport and weekend Omega Aqua Terra. What are your interests? Stu
  16. What tools are needed to instal the new discl? Hmmmmill look in to this. Need to get seats touched up, tints for the wee one and exhaust sorted first! Stu
  17. Thats the dealer i use for serviving. Let me know what the difference is as mine is running 2008. Assume just road, POI updates? Stu
  18. ...and looks incredible imo. I really hope they bring out an 'F' for all the AMG, S, RS, M equivalents .
  19. Yup mine is always illuminated as well. I also assumed it would go off but nope...
  20. Oh ok. That would be better in the nav unit. Overall i love the car and the fact that my list of things i would change demonstrates that. I guess no car is perfect.
  21. I believe you can have the doors opening when in park removed at a dealer. What clock instead? I have read this in reviews but don't understand what would replace it? Stu
