  1. Wasn't planning on selling system for reasons you have stated. Tips are a go though.
  2. My concern would be insurance and that anything that modified would be difficult and expensive to repair if anything did go wrong. You will need the paint code. Check inside panels to make sure the car has been sprayed properly. If you are happy with it then go for it. Stu
  3. Both sides??? You after the mesh as well? No idea what they go for just make me a sensible offer pal. Stu
  4. Also depends on what bore pipe they used etc. It will be a ss system yes. Is the old one worth anything? Stu
  5. Cleaned mine twice and had it cleaned by lexus, all in 4 weeks of ownership.
  6. I'll be asking what warranty/after sales service is offered. I imagine that if I want it quieter/louder id need to pay for larger back boxes or a silencer to be added. I wouldn't ask them to guarantee a set db level as it's the first isf they would have worked on. Trusting their experience at the moment. Stu
  7. Of course, but if the legal limits are those set out in the Highway Code, then spirited driving so as to raise the pulse is inconsistent with them. I don't agree. Driving the legal limits on back roads can be great fun.
  8. Will do fella. I intended to but didn't appreciate they would need it for 3 days.
  9. Will be as good as each other build wise I imagine as well as well as being fair bit cheaper!
  10. Definitely up for a bluewater meet. No update on intake. Last tracking update was 12th December. Contacted seller who contacted USPS. They said it is in the uk but Christmas will slow delivery. They showed me the exit pipes and they are identical to stock. Explained sound I was after. They are very experienced chaps. Can't wait to have both fitted!
  11. Anyone asking for advice as to what car is best suited for a manner of driving that is inappropriate for modern UK road conditions must expect other road users to express disapproval. You can own a sporty car and still enjoy it within legal limits. The comments were ridiculous.
  12. It is yes. I imagine they will keep the spec as I mentioned others may be interested. I stated I wanted good sound under acceleration and burble at idle but not intrusive at motorway speed. Can't wait! Stu
  13. Ok. You after power, practicality, number of doors? Tax an issue etc...
  14. Some very odd and unnecessary replies to this thread. If you are going to be a bell end don't reply!!! The guy just wants advice! If you want thrills looks like the bmw is the car for you. What is your criteria and budget fella? Stu
  15. As most of you know I am looking at Hayward and Scott for a exhaust system for my ISF. I went down to them today and they had a look at the car. Agreed that the best way forward is a cat back system that removes the mid pipe silencer and adds slightly smaller than stock back boxes with stock look quad pipes that are real!!!!! Seem a really good garage and have an excellent reputation. Agreed they would need the car for 3 days so booked in on the 18th this month. Cost 700+VAT including fitting so 840 all in :) Will update on progress once the system is fitted. Stuart
  16. Sticking with quad stock look for same reason as you. Personally I like it. Will start a new thread in a mo :)
  17. Car is under warranty so not worried. Just wondered if it was normal. Looks like it isn't so off to the dealers I think. Cheers folks
