Have you found the key fob start function?

The album images only come through via USB too, it's just that I prefer to cycle the battery rather than leave it cooking all the time. Is there a way to operate the windows from the key fob (like Audi etc where press & hold of the open/shut button operates all windows)? Yes I know RTFM....

OK - How do I put on a parking light - 1 side only? The Audi and VW's you just leave the indicator on the side you want lit and turn off the ignition. Tried this tonight on the 300 and gave up.. Any ideas? Also - the blue tooth dumped my iPhone 5 today for no reason, so I resorted back to the USB and noticed the quality was much better, so that's the end of the blue tooth music experiment. > 400 miles up to Liverpool and back tomorrow..

Weather girl said it's gonna snow and I have the ordinary tyres, so will go carefully. F Sport does it for me too, but as you say the Luxury is a fine car.

I'm on my 3rd tank and enjoying the ride so far. Good to hear so many cars being collected just in time to try out the 'Snow' button! I pressed it today several times, but no snow came - perhaps tomorrow? The loan Luxury is a treat, but I'm now looking forward to my F Sport even more than before..

First day in and 400miles of mainly motorway at sensible speeds in eco and 51.2mpg.

Just drive it normally and that's enough nowadays.

..I'm so glad you haven't pinned it to your windscreen - as a biker I really hate seeing this - do these people have any idea what a blind spot is?? I also didn't tick the Nav box and will get the Bury System 9 iPhone 5 mount for mine when it arrives (used these in past cars and they work great with a signal booster too). I collected the loan Luxury today to keep me going until March and after 400miles it's a damn good car. This one has the Nav and I prefer the Tom Tom on my phone. Might just get one of these mounts in the meantime and that way I free up a cup holder if it's not full of phone, The camera is part of the nav I think - again I have it on the loan car but not that fussed about it. There is so much going on in the cabin there's no shortage of distractions in standard trim.

Completely normal behaviour - I've been a lot further for much less..

12.5k I had a Renault Safrane back in the early 90's that had 6k intervals - I was forever at the dealers and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Crikey - makes the 2k sat nav look like a bargain..

According to the manual there is a little hatch inside the boot and directly behind the fuel filler flap. Inside the hatch there's a thingy to pull that releases said flap if it's stuck for whatever reason... As someone who actually has one of these cars, can you confirm the manual is correct?

+1 for that technique! I may just 'borrow' the kit for my classic car at times for which I don't bother with a spare...

.. so perhaps you could explain in simple terms how the flamin puncture repair thingy works then, as I got completely lost!

..and have you found the little area in the boot to get to the lid if it jams??

I can think of alot of better ways to spend that kind of cash. I have Tom Tom on my iPhone (for EU when I'm in hire cars too)for nowt as it went on expenses. The non Sat Nav dial is much easier to use in my opinion over the mouse gadget and the standard stereo is pretty good too. I have listed to the Levinson stereo and as a music lover I agree it's very impressive - but it's still a car and not The Albert Hall.. my 2 pennyworth and I wouldn't (haven't) bothered..

erm - yes, but I have no idea why! Although this has reminded me that the cap is on the opposite side to what I've been used to for decades.. Not that I'm bothered about stretching the pipe across the car mind!!
