    Hi folks I wonded that as well but asked Lexus they said its normal revs drop once temp gauge reaches half,all cars iav had never done this when heater is on only ac is on dont worry theres nothing wrong with car,as this is my 1st lexus I thought the same thing

    I will clean egr @ will c mpg afterwards, after reading forums it should make a difference or will drive like an old paps lol as I got a heavy foot,always had mercs 320cdi plus I like fast cars,I always liked evo or wrx but missis dont like it.

    I even used shell v diesel @ didnt make any difference at all.

    Did u clean egr?????? I need to clean it @ will c if it makes difference this 50mpg is a myth or u got to drive at 60 to 65 mph once I cleaned egr will post if made any difference our mileage is mostly local

    When I got my spare key from Toyota parts desk gave it to Lexus they took it in to Toyota workshop (thats Lexus woodford) to have it programmed @ charges me£ 60 to drive it next door as Lexus dont have workshop

    hi these cars r for excutive market , they r not for drag racing lol,what u want is a evo or wrx,iav got is220d se- l and its give me 24mpg,it my 1st lexus as always owned e class mercs and i think u can have it remapped.

    Just had that gearbox done its a different car now but picked up this morning it was fine, missus took it, it wouldn't recognise key @ after it wouldn't lock but now its fine,if battery is disconnected should key need reprograming??????they must have disconnected battery

    When bought car throttle body was cleaned but egr not sure but get box done @ will get it cleaned

    Hi I got is220d sel its seems to drink a bit even used bg244 it started to give 30+mpg but now 22mpg.gearbox is gonna b replaced this wk as it jumped out from 2nd gear @ crunched from 1st to 2nd. Is this the reason?????it drives fine no power loss.where did they get there figures from like 50mpg on motorway I never got that,is it u have to drive at 50mph like an old lady.will wait @ c after gearbox replaced.has any 1 else got that mpg like 55mpg lol after Will have egr cleaned

    Have u changed cabin filter yet,try that 1st

    If u dont know how change filter go on u tube @ will xplain how to change it its easy

    Hi try changing cabin filter should solve issue when it gets blocked it causes inside to steam up hope this helps

    Just bought is220d sel about 1 month ago 1 st day it started to jump out of 2nd gear so as bought it from Preston motorpark they agreed to replace complete gearbox,will b getting it done in 2wks.such a nice car to drive I always had merceded eclass but thought make a change.does any one else had same problem with gears
