    Both sides r seized gonna replace both but need to make my point to lexus that this is a manufacturer defect.@ that ur cars ain't good as u think just waiting for answer for last email I sent ,u don't try u don't get its worth a shot

    There seized had them checked by Lexus when u pump brakes they go hard otherwise quite soft quoted me 843 what a joke can get recon for 54 each

    Did contact Lexus UK did ask question why there is no recall for calipers issue they said didn't see fit to recall for this fissure sent them another email see response I will get

    Just disconnect earth cable for free if ur going away for a long time

    Dealer only I tried many locksmiths as its a smart key @ don't waste ur money buying it from ebay it Will not work it's another 60 to reprogram the key,I also fell backwards when heard price as it was my 1st lexus always had mercs,if case is damaged u can get it from eBay,just change it yourself. Hope this helps

    Just been to Lexus Woodford this morning brakes were soft @ front Calipers r seized @ quoted me £800+ to replace can get refurbish for £100 pair @came home parked car vsc @ engine light came on @when turned engine off it shamed like earthquake, drove it had no power left it for a while lights gone @drove normal any ideas what could have caused it did checked forum @ said if u go to fast round bend it goes into safe is this try??????

    U can buy clutch @ flywheel on eBay as a package

    Dealer would charge that much I took my car to a Manuel gearbox specialist he quoted this price

    I got 06 @ getting same problem, Manual isn't the best for Japanese car,had it checked its clutch mine Judders aswell in 1st gear but clutch dosnt slip drives fine mpg is good so it could b flywheel, do clutch @ dmf will cost approx £700.when it's cold it dosnt crunch in 1 @ 2 nd gear only does it when it's warm,does urs do same???????

    So shouldn't they place them free if it's a manufacturer defect all the time iav been driving almost 25yrs never replaced calipers on cars this is gonna b my 1st car for calipers replaced

    Front were replaced in 2012 by Lexus in bolton by previous owner @ now they r sticking again brakes r crap u can get recon 1s from ebay for £37 each dealers think he paid approx 85 each or could try to recon them urself

    Only dealer as its a smart key approx £300 I phoned up various locksmiths @ had to go to dealer in the end eBay keys r no good

    Iav got 06 plate done 500 miles for less then £60.10 plate got more extra then mine like Bluetooth Sat nav ,reverse camera etc good luck
