    I think Steve is right that's next step get it pressure tested it could b hairline crack in head or like he said waterpump pipes should b hot if 1 is cold other hot then theirs no water passing through that pipe good luck

    Try by removing thermostat @ do fans come on

    What's mileage?????? Could have blockage in pipes try pressure washer in main pipes

    Have u checked oil if it's mixed water then it could b headgasket or a hairline crack in head can u c smoke coming from bonnet???????have ur temp gauge checked. Take it to garage @ get a pressure test done,gurgling noise could b air in system try bleeding system r there any bubbles in rad when it gets hot??????test fans by bypassing them with wire hope I av been a help eliminate these issues first

    I own a is220d 2006 verdict gearbox is notchy go for auto @ petrol @ depends on how many miles u will b doing local mileage petrol is best lot of mileage diesel doing local miles dpf, egr can get blocked @ rear calipers do seize up just had front calipers replaced at 80k at cost of £400 ouch!!!!!!!!! road tax is £200 but if u go for 2010 £140 I get 25mpg as been using aircon normally would b 30mpg motorway 40+mpg so now it's up to mate

    Looks easy in video but isn't really????? I personally would attempt it rather buying second hand headlight as ballast could b faulty aswell @ back to square 1 or New 1 would b rather expensive I would buy ballast from eBay good luck when I watched video on how to clean egr it looked easy but I done it wasn't easy but saved myself serious amount of money so when u put it mind to it anything is possible go for it change ballast ur self that is how u learn

    I watched it on u tube 10 times before I done mine wanted to make sure I didnt break flap it was quite easy when u press recirculation flap lifts up itself ,press clips @ filter pops out

    Quite some time ago I had same problem it happened after I had front discs,pads changed @ car went into limp mode left it for half hr @ it was fine no light driving normal light hasn't come on since then I did research on Google said that if u turn corner too fast it can trigger vsc light coming on matter of fact I did turn corner too fast lol does ur light stay on?????? U didn't turn corner bad boy style lol

    Ok thx Steve give them a miss then Lexus Sheffield r doing them for just just over £40 delivered on ebay will use originals ebc ones r approx 21.00 I used blue print on front discs @ pads they fine

    I know u must b bored by now lol but could be new pads maybe need bedding in after 500 miles havnt really done lot of miles with New pads,discs I found a site on ebay only need clips shims came with pads for 7.99 @ another one for 12 really can 4 clips cost 70 amazing

    Had new calipers with carriers replaced New disc,pads but didn't change clips that hold pads in carriers so brakes r still not much better kind of soft pedal could clips b old ??????????@ damaged,clips didn't come with pads as they were blue print, do original ones come them @ can I buy them separate next will change rear pads as they r almost worn @ will replace front clips @ is there anything I should check @ I'm not losing fluid either any help???????

    Try disconnecting battery for 5-10 secs @ check battery in key fob,reconnect battery @ press each window button separately @ that should reprogram ecu good luck

    They were seized had em checked by Lexus Woodford these kits r for early ones mines a is220d 2006

    Just done front calipers with carriers @ pins got them from eBay brand new ones 350 pair cheaper then dealers carriers on its own from Lexus 180 each complete 278 each but brakes havnt made much difference any suggestions got old 1 any any interested reconing them I searched but can't buy recon kits

    That is battery problem have u got a meter @ have u checked water in battery if it's got no water it won't jump start hope u get it sorted lav got same car but on 06 it happened to me once when I went north it didn't turn 1st time but 2nd time also happened once when I came back I cleaned terminals @ put battery corride on it so far good

    There's rad switch try changing that u can check if fan is working find switch take plug out get a wire @ bypass it fan should work then it's switch hope this helps

    Thanks for info brakes r slightly better at moment after greasing pins but if it gets worth then will get new 1s

    Mechanic came today to do front calipers @ it's not calipers it's carriers that was seized bottom bolts both side, he managed to free them but will need replacing at some point, Lexus didn't tell me it's carriers they told me calipers new 1s cames with carriers it's easy money making scam so does any 1 know where I can buy carriers only

    Its same as tx1 rad cools gearbox if rad leaks water mixes with oil @ then new box

    Did they change filter or just oil??????auto boxes have filter in them it's worth changing that to @ might sort it. Or there is a electronic body inside box that might b faulty it happened to me in my e class many years ago.
