  1. I might just pop in - I need to speak to them about the the recall anyway. Your car looked very clean by the way.
  2. Hi Steve, spotted you this morning in Stockport but I was on foot! :) your GS looked like a dark green/blue metallic in the sun.
  3. Looking carefully at mine I think they do dim the same colour but the dimming is not as visible as the interior rear view mirror. I only noticed it when reversing out of a dark garage. I don't get glare so they must be working. I don't think it would show up well if I took a photo.
  4. Same here Roheel, I think mine don't dim either.
  5. Do they dim the same colour as the interior rear view mirror, i.e. green?
  6. Thanks. Mine sounds normal behaviour then. Does yours do this as well?
  7. My rear view mirror turns green but wing mirrors don't. I think they may dim slightly but can't tell for sure. They definitely don't turn green like the rear view mirror.
  8. Sorry I can't help but what is the correct/normal level for the battery indicator? I have noticed in the recent cold weather it can read one above centre initially then drops to the centre bar after a while.
  9. At least it confirms we were correct. It is a 2010 MY with mechanical LSD.
  10. I'd say they both have mechanical LSDs and the original model (08 and 09) do not have Bluetooth music streaming, only hands free. The 2010 MY gains BT music streaming and DAB radio with the HDD nav system. The wheel refurb is hopefully just an aesthetic issue and you're right, these engines are over engineered, it's something you'll have to weigh up.
  11. Yes, the 2011 MY added the DRL for the loss of adaptive front lights and the later instruments with larger tachometer, smaller speedometer and digital speed display. You can find 2010 MY on 59 plates and possibly even on August 09 plates but likewise 2009 MY on 10 plates. The thread I added to my original post also states the cheaper of the two blue ones doesn't have FSH.
  12. That's what I do Keith. Mine's never flashed by the time I have scrolled to it on the display and I made a point of doing so straight after start up this morning.
  13. Hello and welcome Steve. More experienced members will correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought the blue section at the bottom of the steering wheel marked out the mechanical LSD equipped models so I think both would have it. They both also have the HDD based navigation and the fact that they are Ultrasonic Blue with white leather indicates they are 2010 MY . There has been some discussion here recently regarding cheaper blue one - the wheels are definitely not standard colour. Edited to add: link to discussion in this topic http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/97074-just-test-drove-a-isf/
  14. What colour is your GS Steve? I'll keep an eye out for you.
  15. I received the letter about 5 weeks ago and have heard nothing since.
  16. I was surprised! Are you in the Stockport area Steve? Direct msg me if you prefer.
  17. I spotted my first ever IS-F this afternoon just before 4pm parked up in the SK4 area :) Looked well looked after as I guess most are. Was it you? Registration was LS58 ***
  18. It is a four seater but my V5 also states five seats.
  19. Good call Sully. Pete, mine 2008 had the water pump replaced at some point before my ownership.
  20. They are lovely motors. Great cars. I believe the late great Ayrton Senna had some input during the development.
  21. The alloys are directional but the tyres aren't. I've had it twice now where the wheel refurb comapany have put them on the wrong side and have had to swap them over. It's just the front and rears that are different sizes. Thanks Andy, I will double check. I have Bridgestone Potenzas. So these are neither directional nor asymmetric, so I can simply swap the wheels round? That's right..running the same tyres on mine and no issues swapping them. As long as you can see the OUTSIDE writing on the sidewall all is good. Thanks Andy.
