Rayaans was bang on re the dampers. The Premier doesn't have them but the F Sport ( without avs) does. I took another Premier on a short run and its the same as mine. It's really weird. The Premier on super smooth roads is whisper quiet, and the FSport is quite noisy. And the opposite applies on rough/bumpy surfaces! Hopefully the RX Premier with AVS will rectify these issues.

The F Sport doesn't have AVS ( no sport+ mode). Just weird.

My Premier is 15. The F Sport is 65. Even my wife said it feels better. There is something wrong. The more I drive it, the more I feel there is something wrong with my car.

My Premier has gone in for some warranty work to sort out the side steps. The dealership has provided me with a F Sport without AVS ( no sport + mode). Now after driving it for a while it feels hell of a lot more composed and it's ride is more refined. The Premier seems crashy in comparison. I just don't understand it. The pressures on the Premier are set at 33psi and it has the same Yokohomas as the F Sport.

Yep already been on Autebid. Premier with Style/pro pack and twin iPad holders. Total price £61500. With discount £53497. I've already shown Leeds this price and the response I got was stunned silence! I wonder which dealership they use. Does anyone know?

I've receieved the full specs which I will scan and upload later. Re CO2, RX450h SE is 120g which equates to £30. All the others are 127g which is £110. This is the the same as the NX! The pdf will contain full price list inc option costs etc.

In the past month I've been getting a loud squeaking noise coming from the rear left quarter of the NX. I've removed the parcel self, both kids car seats and any bits and bobs. I even removed the polystyrene around the spare wheel. But the bloody thing is still squeaking! I remembered that when I test drove the RX, I heard a similar noise. The dealer thinks it's something to do with the bolts in the boot mechanism. Anyone experienced anything similar? It's driving me bonkers.

As Rayaans above. It will not stop a crash a la the TV ads. You can set the distance and then ( on the premier) bright red lights are displayed on the HUD in caps stating .... BRAKE.

Yeah I know re upkeep of dark colours. Mica was stunning in the sun! I know it's a brave choice but Blue is my favourite colour . I'll have to get it fully detailed and keep it garaged at all times. At the mo I just keep the NX on the driveway and put it in the garage on rainy/cold days.

Yes, I love the 360 deg view camera and it won't be available on the f-sport. Imo the F Sport will be the biggest seller and not the Luxury. It's very composed and the seats are great. Don't like the wheels though. I'm going for Mica Blue with brown interior. The floating roof looks awkward in White. Thats just my opinion. Others will love it I'm sure.

The 450h Premier and F sport are brilliant. On that there is no doubt (imo). There is definitely a discount to be had. I don't care how the dealership does the numbers, as long as the cost to change is favourable. One of the dealerships that I contacted have said that, as long as you confirm a firm order they can choose the month that they put through the order. So it looks good for them and I save a chunk . At the mo Im looking at a 6% saving as I want the style/pro pack , pan roof and rear entertainment prep. So £ 3600 off with just a couple of emails. There is more to come I'm sure of that.

Drove it in Austria last Saturday. Nice how did you manage that? I placed a deposit in April/May after it was shown at NY motorshow, and they offered to send me there for a test drive. Quite a few Brits were there. A lot of Russians/Eastern Europeans slso. Lexus is quite popular in Eastern Europe apparently. Lexus have taken a hell of a lot of orders for the RX in the US according to the PR lady. She is based in the US and is off to South Africa/Australia next for their respective launches. It's very quiet and incredibly refined. A big step up from the NX and the current RX as well. The videos of the interior don't do it justice. Great place to be and the nav/entertainment screen is brilliant. Not too sure about the joystick thingy as I quite like the trackpad in my NX. A lot is being said about the predator grill, but I quite like it. Overall a great car.

Leeds are talking nonsense. Even webuy anycar are offering £31500. Ridiculous. I hope Lookers don't send the Leeds staff to " how to become an obnoxious twunt" classes.

When/where did you get the chance to drive it? Drove it in Austria last Saturday.

I quite like the new Cadillacs. Very sharp looking and decent interiors and good value for money in the good old US of A. Pity it will never take off here.

It is a lovely car, although the full Noble Brown interior would suit it better instead of the two tone interior. I've driven the 2016 RX 450h and it is very refined. One complaint would be the seats. No side bolster adjustments. It's only 10 way adjustment. But on the whole a superb vehicle.

Lee, have you thought of an ex demo Audi S8. Similar price to the Genesis. I know the dealers are Arseholes, but it's a bloody bargain. £48000 for a 64 plate.

Leeds are offering £30200 for my NX Premier with a straight face. No thanks. It was Stoke who emailed me the pricelist that I posted here. I called and then 1 hr later the link was in my inbox. Leeds qouted £70k all throughout. I've contacted Chester and Croydon as well, as suggested here. Just waiting for a response. Leeds have lost my business unless they can match prices. Feel sympathy for the current staff there.

Lee, most of the options mentioned above are standard on the new RX..... just not in the UK ( apart from soft close). Powered folding rear seats are standard on the new Premier. The new HUD is great. A brilliant step up from the current one. The whole point of the blind spot monitor is for you to actually check for danger. If it were to be displayed on the HUD, then no one would check their mirrors. Very dangerous imo. Stoke are wanting to give a greater value on my NX and keep rrp on the RX. At the mo it's £2500. Not good enough. £4500 is what I want, and I can wait.Told Leeds exactly this. Lookers are well and truly in the Leeds showroom.

What happens to the fixed service plans if one moves dealerships? Stoke are interested in doing a swap for the RX with a negotiable discount. Leeds are being douche lords at the mo!
