  1. ... for me, the issue was rust under the rear wheel arch covers, where water got trapped. I did rust proof - a messy job - but i'm not sure it made a huge difference. It seems to be where you cannot see as much as where you can... Definitely worth consideration though.
  2. Wishing you all the Christmas you wish for, whether it be busy, quiet, happy, indulgent, sober, reflective or whatever you so choose. Piers.
  3. Tricky as it is and a hassle, but ... if a third party questions the tyres ( and safety ? ) of the tyres, I'd be tempted to return them? Which may of course not be entirely practical. I wonder if they think all the tyres are 'bad' and how they might have become so? Best wishes.
  4. i.e., it's automatic, I assume. Same for mine - it just changes based on the outside ambient light.
  5. Is there any update? I took a look on the mighty internet but nothing seemed to related to 'FXB.
  6. +1 same here. First day, fine, next week... tired!
  7. +1 Just 'do' the usual due diligence I would suggest. We are very happy with ours.
  8. ha ha. Perhaps I could have worded it differently?!
  9. Toilet Duck: the ones that are like a sticky sweet.
  10. +1 I used one well know product ( cannot remember the name ) that used a cleaning towel and then a sealing towel. Terrible. The cleaning left a murky film. Spent ages trying to get it off. Another product that just seals and cleans in one, works well. But, as Malc says, these things don't last.
  11. I also used a long length of electrical cable to push through the pipe... ( Not plugged in of course! )
  12. Other milk cartons also do it now. I generally need a bath and the kitchen needs a deep-clean, after doing-battle with one of these... Milk; mug: milk second, tea cup: milk first. Though I generally let my butler decide.
  13. "Lowering springs from RS-R who enters them in Germany?" "Who lowered their ES 300h?" ( I think ... used Google Translate. )
  14. I'd be asking the main dealer... maybe something has been knocked out of where it should be?
  15. Has a good MOT history... But the warning lights would worry me...
  16. Sad. I try... to 'do' due diligence but it's hard... A pox on them!
