I have the pioneer amp , when mine was playing up it was due to the rubber flap on the amp side had gone. You can replace but the rear bumper has to come off. I bought another amp and fitted it and in two days packed up. I blow dried the pair of them and they both work perfectly. But not in the normal place, mine is on the top of the boot near the plastic cover that covers the amp. If i can find the part i will upload it.

Are you in AA or any organisation, if so i would call them. If not ring a lock smith, cheaper than breaking the grill or a window.

How did you lock the doors originally then. You have to do them all manually? Have you tried the passenger door??

You will not get a clicking sound from the door, battery is flat. It should still open if you can open the boot. I have locked my car with no battery in the car at all.

Different cars can interfere with the signal, when my brother in law owned a toyota i could not get in my car till he had left. Peugeots interfere with Audis for some strange reason. Are there any new radio masks or the like been installed . Does the fobs work away from your house?

Welcome to the forum . Seems strange they can tell you how long the part will last. They must have a good crystal ball, dealers are good at scaring us into parting with money. Does the motor make a noise? Does it take a long time, to fold down or go back up? If the part is greased up doesn't mean its bad all of the time. What has the person or dealership you bought it from said, about rectifying the parts.

I agree but is that Lexus quoting the price?? They are very good at over inflating, what price are the motors.

Mine is silver also sometimes it looks terrible with flys. No wax used on my car as it is coated. Notice the boot seems the worst, Lol.

Had it checked today while running with every thing on 14v . Car not running battery tester on charge battery.

The same leak came up on last mot as well. When i mentioned it to dealer he said no mention of it. I found it easy enough on gov.com. Also said full Lexus history but last two not done by Lexus. Something he did tell me to be fair, after going through paper work. Car is on autotrader if any one wants to see. £8,500 silver.

Yes just reading up on it now. Could be timing chain cover, often happens on recalls and dealers forgetting gasket. Circa £3000.00. Or done from factory robot not putting enough sealant on. Just wondering if garage selling car will cover it, i have emailed them. The more i read on this model the scarier they get.

Looking at a car 47000 ish miles last mot stated this. Oil leak, but not excessive (8.4.1 (a) (i)) Nearside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement wishbone are they prone to oil leaks? I have emailed the dealer has it has 6 months warranty. Car is 2009.
