I had the same a couple of years ago, yes the paper clip did work i think it was pin 4 and the one opposite.

What make of battery is it?? I bought a yuasa 5 year guarantee absolutely crap battery. Bought from halfords i have taken back 3 times. Say nothing wrong with it, after 2 days dead as a dodo. Bought a bosch starts on the button every time even when left over a period of time.

Number 10 is body control mudule.

The door windows have to be reset one by one. Go to each door individually , push the window down then up. Hold for a second or two then should all work from the master switch. Did you not have a spare key?? Have you checked the fuses in the passenger footwell. Its a little white box. box.

Experts or enthusiasts we all want the same goal, detailing cars is as easy as you want to make it. Cheap and cheerful may be your cup of tea. As i explained if you clay bar a car you mark it, no getting away from that.

Lexus paint is soft and been black also, i would use something like rupes yellow pads, and perfect finish. I used these on my silver lexus.

Remember if you clay you will mark the paintwork. So will then have to machine polish, to bring her to her best.

Its easy apart from the bottom bolt , no room its a b. Take to a garage if you can, you will not regret it. I did my own its a pig and a half.

I agree alternator just go no warning. you are lucky, all i had was led rear lights nothing else no dash lights nothing.

I have tried with out sanding and with sanding, used coating and lacquer which only lasted a short time. Having said that one of the new headlights had to go back as it let condensation in. It was replaced and been fine since, a good two years now.

I have done this numerous times, does not last long. In the end i bought two new headlights from lexus.

I personally bought the bosch 068, 4 year guarantee fits like a glove.

These are them, because lights are a lower voltage throws the engine light on.

Did you not get resistors with the lights, orange oblong two wires.

Yes when you remove amp , it is black and should be complete if its split it is knackered. I tried covering the hole but it did not work. So my amp is sat on the top now, but had no issues and its been over 6 months.

My car had its last service at Lexus 49,000 mls, I service my own car oil filter etc. Done every year or 5000 mls. I have owned my car 5 years and it would be silly due to age to go to a dealer. Mileage is currently 72,000 miles i do my own brakes, and anything it has needed. To be honest apart from brakes plugs alternator and battery, it has wanted for nothing.

Is the boot light going out, its surprizing how little bulbs drain. Do you have any led bulbs, brake lights or the like. -

Could be the alternator, have you tested to see what the alternator is putting into the battery. -
Use recirc and air con will soon clear. Try a smoke bomb to freshen up the interior.
