Now as regards the price of these new wheels I’m conscious that there are a number of ‘senior ‘ members on this forum i don’t want to be responsible for any coronary issues...... I have the prices......😳 I will speak to Tim when I’m there Saturday to see if a group buy is possible
🐀
If they're anything like the prices for the ISF alloy wheeels from the dealer........ouch!

Is it though? That is mega mileage for the age. Seat bolster wear and all sorts of other wear for the age as well mechanical etc.
If a buyer doesn’t intend to sell for many years then agree but otherwise it’s a lot of mileage. When you consider a car can be had for 3k more with 24k miles it’s not such a bargain at all.
Yeah I guess, a bargain if the buyer plans to keep it long term... Private sale..... you could probably get it a fair bit lower than the advertised price.

I was tempted to make an offer when I was considering getting GS450h, but then though to myself it is a bit pointless. Such tings makes sense for like BMW where it is common to make M5/M3 replicas, but bit pointless for Lexus.
That is accurate picture of Romanian mail... only 70% of mail delivered of which only 38% on time. As for Lithuania the statistics goes 95% and 82% respectively, which is not that far from UK 97% and 92%. Effectively, the rates in Lithuania is average of EU, wheres UK is above average, however postage service coverage is much higher and price is much lower e.g. There are 956 post offices in Lithuania where only 120millions parcels are sent, and ~14000 in UK where 9 billion parcels are sent - Source: EU Statistics Bureau
Thanks for the stats, if I've got this right, this is a better illustration of the Lithuanian 🇱🇹 postal service....
Looks much more efficient 👍

Whats wrong with Lithuanian mail?
As for IS220d, that is good idea... get IS220d for £1500, remove and sell DPF £150 saving, fit this interior for £2000 and you almost have functional GS-F.. for mere £3350
Here's Lithuania mail, looks OK to me.....
Yes it will be like a GSF just a really slow one. 👍

493 miles to be exact.... 😉. Purchased from another forum member who took the car with him from the UK to ROI.

I feel as I need to step in here to set the record straight.... Anyone who truly knows Lexus knows that this interior colour was derived by the LFA designer chief Haruhiko Tanahashi pictured below.....
..... During a business trip to Ramsgate to experience British culture, he stumbled accross a lovely beachside resturant and took a shine to a particular dessert which was used as the inspiration for the interior colour in question.....
Those who don't believe me just google 'Haruhiko bananas custard ramsgate". 😉

It must be possible to develop no drone/resonance through enough research and testing/tuning. The latter being the most key IMO. I have recently had a PPE dual 'switchable' exhaust (will do a full review when I've found some free time 😉) fitted to my ISF. With the valves closed the exhaust remains largely stock in its characteristics but adds a subtle 'exotic note' to fill in at the lower revs from 1500 rpm until the already addict intake noise kicks in at 3500/4000 rpm upwards. Zero drone. The valved system has always been a must for me for the very reason that if it gets too much or annoying (especially as my car is a daily driver), I have the option to turn the bloody thing off 😂 😂. I've spent alot more time with the valves closed than open (which is pretty savage and to a degree unrefined but enjoyable in the right environment/road).
Back on topic, I believe it is possible but it is curious why so many exhausts are developed/sold which suffer with drone/resonance 🤔

Would be the GSF for me, if and when. @Stuno1.... agree that the RCF is fine for older kids, might be a pain in and out for those with young kids in child seats....

Cheers
Due to poorly child last weekend and a few dealers not wanting to sell me cars, (we are sorry if you want a well looked after car this one isnt for you?!?!) my road trip has been postponed to tomorrow.
Might seem slightly bizarre but the other car I am considering is a jag XE S. A weekend of tyre kicking and a stop over in a second rate hotel is on the cards, my idea of heaven and the wifes idea of hell, but she insists she is involved.
This will no doubt end badly, possibly with you buying a Dacia Duster 😉. Have you considered paying for your wife to attend a spa? Failing that cash bribes, rather than input on a fast car and offering logic to man maths? 😉 🤣. All joking aside, good luck with your search... 👍

I'm wondering if it has it's own fuse that can be pulled out? Certainly not needed with decent pipes fitted.
@ColinBarber Do you have the fuse layout diagrams?
Lexus have a thing for keeping their cars subtle in the decibel department. By adding this they probably expected to give their customers the best of both worlds but didn't account for true petrol heads who want the sound to come naturally.

There are a couple of 2013 ISF's for sale £27k-£30k, one in white is a beauty and a forum members car. These prices are very close to the RCF, the cheapest being the silver one at £32k. You would imagine the ISF might be a bit more £££ resilient but who knows, the RCF is a much more modern looking car.

Does anybody have any experience with Lexus Reading for servicing of their F? Looking to possibly switch to them.
Yes I do, they have been fine. They wouldn't do a deal on the fixed service plan so I went to Twickenham, who were poor, so I switched back to Reading. No complains.

Based on recent experience.... Add Lexus Derby to the dreadful list.
Lexus Carlisle - superb. 10/10.

Sounds like a circus at that Porsche dealership. I do believe it's luck of the draw, I've had some fantastic but also some poor experiences with Lexus dealerships. I think it all depends how they are individually run, sounds like you've got a great one in Lexus Hull.
