    I hugely respect the RCF but I agree with @Mark G that they missed the target market. Great car, but the market research team got it wrong. Although I don't think they give a s##t. I think the gap will close between the ISF and RCF for this reason but the ISF still has plenty of falling to do IMO.

    Totally agree, that's primarily what's stopped me tinkering with my car. Car is 100% stock now, lip removed, larger tyre sizes switched back to oem, however, the attractive £££ ECP Brembo brake pads aren't technically oem, surely they would give a little leeway in the event of a claim, but as you say, want to give them as little as possible to pick on.

    Wouldn't jeopardise the warranty but surely upgraded brake discs, for example, wouldn't invalidate the warranty in event of a gear box failure 😓

    @Big Rat did Lexus say it would void the whole warranty or just that particular area, for example, if you used non oem brake pads, the whole braking system wouldn't be covered...

    Absolutely 🐀, the lack of noise doesn't bother me 85% of the time and actually suits my needs for work/weekday use, but would've been nice for the weekends and summer evenings. Would fall in love with the car all over again (if needed) with the exhaust change me thinks 😉

    Was thinking just the other day, if the roar from the second intake kicked in slightly earlier, you would get some of the thrill in city driving 30/40mph and increase the fun whilst day to day driving, rather than having to wait for a national speed limit road.

    Yep, although with exhaust prices from £500 + to give that better V8 sound, it can be achieved. Lexus are the King's of understated and conservative motors but why on earth was it not stock...nuts 😕

    Lots and lots of tests on air intakes and a particularly detailed one on the US forums. Its concluded that pretty much anything other than stock or RR racing will lose you horsepower to the tune of 10-20hp based on dyno runs. Question is, would you feel 10-20hp loss, probably not and in return you get the lovely Induction sound from the K&N, Takeda etc.

    Is it easy to do yourself Stu or should it be applied by a detailer? Some of the expensive ceramic products seem to be more difficult to apply. This sounds amazing for £20!

    I've read that alot of these mics (the one I've got included) are tuned to pick up as much noise as possible, which is fine in ordinary situations. Travelling at speed it just can't handle it. Trial and error over the next few weeks to find a solution

    Fluff ordered.... Doesn't say Rusty exhaust proof, I will need to go to NASA about that.

    Indeed, it has a separate mic, was going to try mounting the mic in different places but good shout about the fluff 👍! Alot of YouTube videos, of anything remotely fast, has interference caused by wind. Better not Google 'fluff', but with try something similar.

    Treated myself to a similar gadget, will be testing a few camera angles this week. Hopefully we will get some great footage /photos between us.
