  1. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/lexus/is-f/used-lexus-is-f-5-0-4dr-high-wycombe-fpa-201501080018031?logcode=p any thoughts on this car would be much appreciated, its local to me and I'm tempted to have a look, although it has been on AT for ages!
  2. I think it looks good, I've tinkered with my Lexus is250 but always gone for genuine Lexus upgrades (f sport), I guess with the ISF the genuine Lexus upgrades are very limited so you have to go for some bespoke alterations like yours ace8800, good work!
  3. I would hope that if I opt for the 2008 (60,000 +/- miles) then I will be looking between £17,000 - £20,000. This may not get me a flawless example but would expect FSH and well maintained in the main. It could then be a dilemma whether to pay £23-£25,000 for a 2010/2011. I would also say that due to the lack of stock there is every chance of curve balls and excellent examples going for a premium.
  4. I would ideally opt for an ISF with the revised suspension but would not discount a good example 2008. And of course the younger the car the better, budget allowing!
  5. You hear that Lexus provides wonderful service but I have to admit, I've moved away from them on my is250. Never been impressed by my nearest dealer. I just would want peace of mind if something goes bang, although I guess something like warranty wise would offer the same.
  6. I'm on the look out for an ISF this year or next year, no rush. My preference would be to purchase from Lexus for peace of mind but I would consider an independent dealer/private with full Lexus service history. Spending 20k + on a performance vehicle, I would sleep better with some form of warrant! I have been monitoring prices for several months, its seems many are overpriced and stay on autotrader for ages (mostly the 2008/2009's), the well priced ones fly out the door!
  7. Looks like a spontaneous ebay purchase in my opinion, now trying to sell it on after realising they've been sold a pup. I certainly wouldn't consider an ISF which has been in any kind of accident, must have been relatively major to become not economically viable to repair on a £20,000 motor.
  8. I think that's awful they're trying to pull a fast one, hoping to get lucky with an ebay purchaser! I'm planning to upgrade my is250 this, or next year to an ISF, scanning autotrader, ebay and Lexus sites religiously! It seems the good ones sell very quickly like the one at Lexus Bristol, I enquiried within 24 hours and it was gone! Most at the moment seem to be hanging around, would be great to see some new arrivals!
  9. Any opinions on the one just listed on ebay at £15,000? Plate seems similar to the Cat-D one?
