  1. There is a software update available from Lexus dealerships which virtually eliminates the 'lurching' problem, although apparently very few people have bothered to have this fix done.
  2. Not at all, it works very well. Very occasionally I get the odd wipe when dry for no apparent reason, probably caused by a relection from somewhere. or even a reflection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Totally different from other concept pictures published on this forum, which supposedly, by all accounts, were what the 2009 model would look like. Nothing at all like these latest pictures.
  5. Yes, with a 3 way switch: Marked Door - Off - On. (Page 99 of manual)
  6. Mine the same, an obvious oversight by Lexus not to backlight this switch.
  7. Quite simple really, put side lights on, then take bulbs out of the side you don't want on!
  8. There is a software upgrade that will correct about 90% of the 'lurching' problem. Mine was done about 6 months ago, so I know this for sure. Where did you get the software upgrade done ? I assume a Lexus dealer. Did they do it free of charge ? Any Lexus dealer, FOC under warranty.

  10. Try Ebay, search 'Lexus Wiper Blades' (Item number: 230106549973 as an example).
  11. This site gives a bit more info on the new RX:- www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=116536#11]2008 RX350
  12. In the absence of special towing recommendations from your vehicles' manufacturer, the rear tyres should be set to the "fully laden" pressures. Where "fully laden" and "standard" pressures are the same, increase the tyre pressures at the rear of the car by 4 to 7 psi (0.3 - 0.5 bar), cold, compared to the "standard" pressure.
  13. It is not strictly true about the 'Lurching' statement made above. A software fix is available to cure this problem. I had mine done a few months ago, and the problem has gone.
  14. My dealer will charge for optional insurance. The car comes free.
  15. Search this site for 'Rx300 Sel Suspension, Collapse'. This should answer your query, although my May'05 SE-L was, I was assured, not susceptible to the same problem as it only applied to earlier models.
