Just sent to them a mail ordering one and awaiting an answer. Maybe I get one - maybe not.
That,ll be interesting to know.

Sadly this is the way things are going now.Used to love the old days of stripping your car apart and fitting stuff.

Good luck with the UX.
As already said above its all these SUV,s now are putting me off them and the current Lexus range (sadly).
I did enquire about a GR Yaris back in April when we bought the wifes Aygo but there is a year long waiting list so that put me off.
I will be looking at the Corolla range now as they are a stunning looking car and the awesome new 2.0 engine.
-
It,s only really applicable to the US and not avaliable in Europe.I enquired sometime ago about this.
-
To be honest i wouldn,t trust Halfrauds to do anything on my car. They couldn,t even drill 2 holes in a number plate correctly and it was lower on oneside.I made them make another FOC and i done it at home instead.

Hi all,
Has anyone removed the number plate holder from the front number plate and moved the number plate location? just looking at how the US have there cars with the full grill on show and i think it does look nice and gives it a clean look.
Thinking about getting a smaller front plate and moving it to the left side of the bumper but it may cover one of the parking sensors or just running a smaller plate on the front.
regards
Joel
I,m so with you on this one.The front number plate and its mounting is an ugly set up for UK and Europe also. That full size spindle grille should be on full display.Sadly i don,t think there is a way around it here other than just removing the surround and have the number plate only mounted?
This is something i,ve been thinking about but mine is a pre facelift but i just want to be different.I shall be upgrading to the facelift bumper soon anyway.
I think making the plate smaller for the front will get you into trouble as said it doesn,t conform with ANPR.

I think it's good to put on as many miles as you can on your lexus. That way you get more enjoyment from it and the cost per mile against your purchase price decreases 🙂
Very true yes.Its had a hard life recently so i,m letting it rest a while and use it much less now than the Aygo.

Trying to keep the miles down on my Lexus so i,m using the wifes Toyota Aygo for work. It,s a lot of 3 pot fun haha.

I,d be worried to use these as i have a couple of spots needing attention but i,m thinking Arctic Pearl White would be a problem for paint matching?
-
It,s a gimmick as there are no gears to shift up or down to.

Sport mode is great and you can get a great deal of performance out of it if you know how to drive it right. It,s like having 2 different cars.

Yes I believe both the bonnet and rear hatch are aluminium on the CT.
They certainly are on these.
-
I doubt they will do anything with the CT now as its discontinued.Very sad.

Don,t ever worry going past the empty mark on the fuel gauge.I did 25 miles past this once just as a test and still had no problems.I didn,t want to take it much further though.

I thought that the batteries are supposed to last 15 years but mileage can affect that as well as the time and frequency the car was stationed over the years..
How's the mileage @Storm Chaser @corkboi?
I,m on 111K now and all is well still.

Mine packed up after 8 years. It was the original one so i replaced it with exactly the same one.

The 2.0 litre Corolla hybrid estate is a very nice looking car with a good engine. It would be a car to tempt me away from Lexus in the future. Used of course!
Sad to say but i feel the same.I would certainly think about a Corolla as the next choice for me.

Lexus have never touched mine as its always ok at every service and it reaches the right temperatures.
-
Those new Corollas are really nice.I was looking at one in Hedge End when i was having my Catloc fitted. It was the new 2 litre hybrid model it was awesome in Pearl White too.Not cheap but a great car. Also sat in a GR Yaris which has a 1 year waiting list.
-
I,d go for the Premier model as it will have the Mark Levinson sound system. Not sure if the later Takumi does?
-
It,s 100% your Battery.Anything below 9 volts and the system just won,t want to do anything. It won ,t be your key fob Battery unless it was dead anyway.I had similar problem last winter when my original packed up after 8 years.I bought a Yuasa identical Battery and replaced the dead one and all is back to normal now. These are known to do very strange things when the Battery is low/dying.
Good luck.

Also Toyota have a shop on eBay like Lexus do.
i think its called Toyotapartsdirect? sorry i saw it somewhere but can,t quite remember.
-
Well i just bought another set on eBay for £34.99 genuine. At least they,ll last a while and look shiny.

For what it is as i,ve seen one you could just make one out of very thin breathable foam or micro netting.
