  1. It does make sense fella but I'm not sure that I will pass the construction and use regulations here for its MOT certificate, but don't quote me. Big Rat
  2. Here's a pic of the light stalk Matey that operates the lights, So when the headlights are on which is the outermost rotate of the stork you then rotate up for the fog lights on the innermost section for both front and rear fogs. Now it's a distinct click for the first section then a further 'silent ' rotate for the second set to come so the first picture shows headlights only- no main beam on. Second picture headlights and rear fog lights. Third picture headlights front and rear fog lights on. Gotta go Matey catch you later good luck 🐀
  3. @Defratos Hi Matey Heres a pic of the rear lights all on including fogs but no brakes applied, haven't got time to remove the trim for inside pics on the way to a customer, I will do it later this afternoon if you don't a get a reply in the meantime. Big Rat
  4. @emjay82 gets my vote as long as there is Rat experimentation 😂 🐀
  5. @Mark G Funny you should say that matey up the road wondered why he wasn't competitive in his Caterham at Silverstone last week ,we did mention the fact that he is now just shy of 21 stone 😂 Big Rat

  9. I can hear Clarkson now on the matter :( . It's too heavy . It's 'only' got a normally aspirated V8 . To many gears . Oh and look at the designer he looks about 12........blah..........blah Big Rat

  11. @Rusty Crobar Russ just to be on the safe side if you have had to top up check your water pump matey just in case it's misting/weeping, have you ever had it replaced ? Just drop the front under trays if it is it will be obvious looks like this 👍 Big Rat
  12. All that I've read about the 'F' on track as regards the brakes have been positive, standard M3 not so. Bet you were pleased you had a bit of a dickie heater eh 😂 Big Rat
  13. Well done fella glad you had a good time flying the the 'F' flag. Bet you do it again again....... Big Rat
  14. I'm putting it don't to age and the fact I went with Lewis the sparky today to do a quote at a property of an 'x' Miss UK. Here's Lewis and myself at the front door :) 😳 😳 Big Rat
  15. Yes matey there were or two personal items in my car but nothing of any consequence. I don't think much was attached to it back then sheer lazy journalists, not helped by the 4 door BMW coming out I think a few years after the coupe. Big Rat
  16. @Chuckie478 He rang the supervisor at the DOT site at junction 18 by the M4, I went up there in mine, the owners manual says 1732kg with half a tank of fuel mine weighed 1736kg. Autocar magazine said there's tested in 2008 full tank 1720kg. Big Rat
  17. @Flytvr The trouble with that is this 😳 Big Rat
  18. @Shahpor Ah yes sorry should have said isF is 1732 kg in my owners manual, depending on which road test you read it does vary a few kg. Big Rat
  19. A friend of mine works for the Department of Transport down in Bournemouth, he has just bought a BMW M3 e92 Saloon on a 10 plate with a double clutch gearbox. Now I've always been sceptical about the historical criticism that the IsF was the Lardy one but was curious when you actually match eggs with eggs, in that a 4 door FULLY equipped M3 Saloon with a double clutch gearbox AND a proper space saver wheel jack+brace in the boot like hours actually weighs. So he has access to proper calibrated weigh bridge and took his car down and guess what with no driver less than a quarter of a tank of fuel it weighed just over 60kg more than the equivalent specced isF. Now how do we go about rewriting history😂 The M3 Coupe in same spec weighs 22kg less than the saloon. Oh he is the second owner of the car got the original bill of sale and looking at the options which are broadly similar to a standard isF at that time 2010, the BMWwas nearly 7.5k more, interesting I thought. Big Rat
  20. @emjay82 Nah get round it like this, just give them the helo with the house the ladies love it 😂 Big Rat
  21. @emjay82 Matey slight @Flytvr in the ointment there, nowadays they all want a large concrete circle with a capital H in the middle in the grounds, any ideas who I can suggest for there paraffin budgie servicing needs 😂 And as for all the companies dumping there asbestos waste in lanes around here I reckon @Mark G could be busy as well 😂 🐀
  22. @Flytvr Won't leave time for much cake and coffee 🐀
