  1. I have had my car since June now here are my likes and dislikes. Like's: Adaptive cruise control, makes motorway driving so sweet How quiet the engine is especially on EV mode The automatic hill parking break is amazing Reverse Camera Bluetooth Radio and automatic phone contact sync Dislikes: Annoying sound upon breaking EV mode turning off due to accelerating too fast
  2. Great to see you are getting on well with the NX Sport, sounds like you have the same colour as mine. I too previously had a Honda (Civic) so I didn't have that functionality. When I first got the car I couldn't get DAB working, somehow it resolved itself. So I haven't touched it but would like to understand how to use it going forward. I also got the parking sensors fitted, and as stated above unlike the Luxury model which shows an image of the vehicle with its distance. The sensors are great but from my experience there is a slight lag especially with the front sensors before it actually kicks in. I don't know if you have experienced the same on yours.
  3. Just to add, when a USB stick is plugged into the USB slot. The car does play audio via this method, you just need to press the "mode" button until it switches to USB.
  4. I have gotten used to the analogue clock, I love the way it illuminates in the night.
  5. Couple weeks back I drove to Cardiff and back, and have done just over 500 miles since I got my NX, I consistently have just over 41 MPG in my sport. Which is better than the Honda Civic diesel I used to own.
  6. Looking good Ian, I pick up my Lexus NX Sport tomorrow morning!
  7. Ah wow that is nice, pity I have a lot of expenses otherwise this would be the version I would pick up, it seems like I will have to get a second hand 2015 model on finance.
  8. Hot off the press here is a link showcasing the new NX thoughts? https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/04/18/introducing-the-updated-2018-lexus-nx-nx-f-sport/ https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-shows-shanghai-auto-show/facelifted-lexus-nx-gets-shanghai-motor-show-debut
  9. Yeah after seeing rayaans is an RX owner I may have to go for that. I have requested a brochure this morning actually, and have read a parkers review and watched several reviews on the RX. It does seem like a very nice vehicle, I am just not used to driving such a beast being an owner of a hatchback vehicle. It will take some time getting used to. I will need to test drive the RX, and check out the infotainment system as the reviews said it is already dated. But it didnt look too bad in my opinion. Again I think I would go for the Luxury spec although the Premier would be nice with the additional sound system, but I think the price its just too much for the extra "luxuries".
  10. Thanks for the prompt reply, that is interesting to know. My elder daughter is near that limit so when we are ready to expand the family she will not need the booster seat. I guess it may still be a little cramped in the back squashed next to a baby seat and a booster seat with a back? But little ones have to sacrifice right haha. I would definitely want to ensure I continue to use the isofix base points as they provide so much more safety I wouldn't want to go without. Thanks for your help and I cannot wait to join the Lexus club and to have found a UK based owners forum!
  11. Hey all, I am contemplating purchasing the Lexus NX 300h, I enjoyed the test drive I was lucky enough to drive the premier model. The model I am interested in purchasing is the Luxury. But I wanted to know are there any members in here who have a young family? The NX fits the bill size wise and the reviews I watched looked fine in regards to space in the rear, however they did not highlight 3 car seats. I didn't put the child seats I have into the test drive vehicle either so I am unaware if this will work? I have a toddler who is in a booster seat with a back style car seat, I have a daughter who uses a booster seat. But the wife and I are thinking of expanding the family so would an baby seat also fit in the vehicle? Thanks in advance
