all around europe but not inn France ! IS 200 5 years stereo waranty is not available in France, for exemple ! The problem is that there are few Lexus sold in france and dealers are not as good as in UK. We don't have Lexus Dealers only Toyota dealers which sell Lexus. There are less than 100 SC430 in france.

What about any waranty ? If something is not done correctly during servicing( i have told "IF"), would i be able to get a waranty in France?

I own a IS 200 and i'm thinking about buying a SC430 but my dealer told me services were very expensive. i've been told 1000£ each time ! Is it right ? I managed to find a 02 Sc 430 with 30.000km(around 20.000 Miles) on clock for 35.000 € (23.000 £) which is not very expensive for such a car , but i'am a little scarred by services prices. my Lexus dealer told me tyres were so expensive that most of the owners got the runflat off ! Could someone answer me ?

Sorry for your baby. That's one of the thing i don't like in UK, roads are very bad ! This appened to me but on a oil falled on the highway. did a 360 but luckily, the were nobody on this 4 lanes highway and didn't hit anything.

There are good dealers in France. I went to Sivam Paris 05 , had a free diag. and my stereo changed whereas my car wasn't under waranty

You can remote this safety. I only asked Lexus to do it with the service. They get the speedo information off. There is only one problem, When you don't receive GPS informations(in a tunel for example) the nav system don't react because it doesn't know how fast you drive.

I had my stereo changed under waranty and i confirm you that nav and no nav stereos are differents. First one they ordered was not correct one.

I've never seen any yellow Lexus...perhaps you have pics But, i agree yellow doesn't fit to every cars. Anyway,why would you be a "gay" if you buy a yellow car ?? if it would be true, a lot of Ferrari owners are Gay !!!

Are your windows tinted ? Some films may cause this kind of problems if they contain metal.....

This problem happened to me this summer. Opened the car,then opened the boot but forgot the key inside when i closed it. As you know, the car automaticly relock itself after 30 secondes, so it was 10.00 pm, i was locked out the car and the key was in ! Didn't managed to break a window with a hammer someone lended me :tsktsk: Then, the police arrived and asked me to explain why i was trying to force my own car ! finally managed to catch the handle with a shoe-lace while 2 policemen were triing to separate the door. My door is now twisted and wind enter the car when i go faster than 100 mph. I was so angry that it was last time key left my hand while the boot was open. fluff34567, would be pleased to know if your way to open the boot is easier than mine ! I can't always have policemen in my pockets !!!

Hi Lexdreamer, I didn't know if the warranty was the same in France as in IK but after having asked to several dealers, i found a good one and got my stereo changed . Lexus prefer changing parts not to let the owners think cars are wrong. Try to ask your dealer, you have nothing to lose :winky:

My stereo will be changed :D Received a phone call from Lexus this morning and they accept to change it under waranty. only need 5 days to the stereo to arrive to my dealer and 30 mins to replace it. Many thanks to everyone . Specials thanks to Mr Bault from Sivam-Lexus , in Paris, who has managed to convist Lexus France to change it under waranty . If you need to go to Lexus in France, choose Sivam where you are welcome not as a lot of other dealers.... Sure this advise's useless because Lexus cars never need to be repared :winky:
