If you could post a pic of how you have fitted the FCD i think this will help, as its very easy to wire it in wrong :o as your problem sounds like the FCD not working to me :D

Well its not going to work TRC coz you have problem with coil pack, its not going to be able to send the message as you have problem with coil pack, it don't matter if just 1 coil pack or 3 or 4 coil packs, its not going to be able to do the job, so it puts the light on telling you its not working, you may well get 2 codes come up when you have them read, 1 could say sensor, but in this case, as the engine was not running well, it was going to be the coil pack :D

Coz its in a loop, so to speak, thats like saying, if you have 2 ABS sensors and 1 stops working, why dose the TRC light flash and not work, you still have the other 1 so should still work. So to sum up, you get both lights telling you, you have problem, and in this case, coil pack gone, so in turn is affecting you TRC, so that lights as well :D

Well they are linked, if your TRC comes into play what dose it control so if one not working, nor is your TRC :winky:

As Stav has just said, have a look at the one DJ Wozza has put on his car, he had to do some mods to make it fit mind, but not to much :D -
Yes it should, its linked, so if you have problem with coil pack you will get both lights :D but if you have problem with sensor (ABS) the TRC light will flash :D

1st, you can not unplug the coil pack in the way you saying, car will not run. What you better doing is, change the coil pack, at number 1 cylinder, then start the car, if no change in running then its not that one, keep doing this, number 2 cylinder and so on, until you find the duff one and the car running ok :winky:

Its a shame you havnt got a crap spare or could get hold of a semi damaged one mate, so i could give it a blast to see what you think of the finish? Don't think they have a spare ? well steel and very very thin :o

Thanks for that Steve, i know a mods job is not easy one, as many a member has there own opinions, and just being a normal member i do know more than most members what is going on here just by the number of years/friends ive made on here :D I will send you a pm with my number

I've been a member on here for a number of years now, i still don't know how the mods are chosen I do remember, some members putting them selfs forwards for eg group buy organiser many years ago now. There was something else to In this last episode with Wozza, the husband & wife mods team don't seem to work, as the wife saying one thing and the husband backing her up, thats only natural, but don't work. Maybe we should have mods for different parts/sections of the club, we have many parts, and i know John sorts the meets section out, just using that as example. each running his/her section.

I think the mod/management that gave you the warning has to move it mate, other than that you could put you case to Admin/Steve :D

hursh ! harsh maybe .......thats life ! as far as i can see wozza has instigated this action and is well aware of it and the fact he has passed corrospondance on to other members comments on other forums have also been noted That correspondence was sent to me by Wozza on the 2nd of Feb 2009 and not said anything until this topic was started.
