  1. If they are warped it is an easy job to replace them and only about £150 for disks all round, nothing to really freak out over :winky:
  2. Is the MkII GS300 rear brake disk exactly the same part as the IS200 rear disk?
  3. A replacement panel filter won't make a noticable difference in performance. But a decent replacement will last longer than the OEM version and may save you some money in the long run.
  4. And..... I only wear slippers on Sundays. And evenings, and when it gets cold, my circulation ain't what it used to be...but then again nothing is like back in the old days..... during the war......... (he says in the style of Uncle Albert)..........
  5. I'm lucky enough to have owned both, and....... I'm happy with what I've got :winky:
  6. Hey, we're not liking the sport pedals idea are we! But seriously are they available
  7. Whats wrong with them? Don't they have aluminium pedals on the IS300? And thats an auto.
  8. Can you get get aluminium pedal covers or replacement aluminium pedals for the MKII GS300? Like the sport version on the IS200.
  9. My GF bought me a day at Thruxton racing an MGZS, Ferrari 355 and then a Formula Renault. Wicked day! :winky:
  10. I shall be back this year after missing last year :D
  11. Well done to the winners! Next year gonna try to get the missus sprawled across the bonnet in a rubber catsuit, that should do it!! :winky:
  12. Edgware have my GS300 stereo for repair at the moment, better not be longer than the 2 weeks they promised!!
  13. I've only just bought the car, but I couldn't hear any squeeling from them. I knew they needed changing anyway, and £143 all in for pads front and rear and rear disks is OK :winky: Gives me a chance to paint calipers and put caliper stickers on aswell :D
  14. Sorry Rodders couldn't get the figures as the machine needed recalibrating so will have to back and get it done in a a couple of weeks
  15. They do need replacing as the pads have worn down to nothing and damaged them. :o But does anyone have any advice about changing them, any issues?
  16. I'm happy for matt to make the decision.
  17. I need to change my front and rear pads and rear disks. Lexus want £600 to supply and fit the parts! So I decided to get Mintex replacement OE pads and rear disks for £150 and will fit them myself. Have replaced front pads before but never rear pads or disks, is there anything that I need to bear in mind? My Dad will be helping and he knows a bit, but best to be prepared :winky: I will be doing them next Sunday.
  18. Rodders, mine is going in for geometry check/allignment tomorrow, I will try to get a printout of the figures.
  19. I know what you mean though, Alan Partridge is class!
  20. And i know what sounds quicker. Depends what you're after. Totally different cars, not pretending to be class, Type-R stands for racing.
  21. Thats the exception rather than the rule then. Very reliable cars, they are hondas after all ;)
