  5. Bit far for me, but a good idea. Can you just turn up on a Saturday for no other reason other than just to get a free car wash? B)
  6. I was quoted 2 hours labour aswell to get the geometry done, lexus Hatfield.
  7. I have replaced the middle section and had a hi-flow sports CAT fitted. I still need to replace header or just remove pre-cats before I will be able to tell if it makes much difference. Why not put your thoughts on prices etc for the TDi header on this post so Mark has some idea what peolpe are willing to pay. TDi Header

  11. Welcome to the club, December will seem a long time coming. We are quite friendly......but watch out for Steve, he seems nice but every now and then..... he'll set the paperclip on us......
  12. Just thought I'd pass on my findings after having these fitted for a good 6 months. The fronts produce much less dust and its easier to remove than the dust from original pads, but here is the thing. The rears now produce more dust than before and more dust than the fronts! My advice for people thinking of having these fitted is just go for the fronts only and keep the rears as standard. The rears produce very little dust anyway with the standard pads. From what I understand the greenstuff rear pads wear out much quicker than the standard pads too.
  13. First impressions are that I don't like it, too cluttered. prefer the cleaner lines of the current shape. (If it is the new shape Altezza/IS!)
  14. welcome to the club supersonic. Look at this thread re. servicing costs:- Servicing Costs When I bought mine they were willing to do a trade-in with my old car. But bear in mind you will not get a very good price. You will get more selling privately, but its obviously up to you if want the hassle or not.
  15. Where does the cold air scoop, scoop from?
  16. SP9000's have done me proud. Hard wearing and good grip in wet and dry. Done 14000 miles on them and are still good for another 10000 me thinks :D
  17. Cheers Mark I appreciate the conflict of interests. On the Unichip, if I have other mods in place (exhaust, induction etc) will you be able to get better results from the chip? I use Optimax fuel, is it true you can set the car up to run on this octane and get more increase in performance this way? Cheers
  18. You can definitely get the back out in the wet, but don't rely on thr traction control to sort it out. It will cut in but not immediately. If you can anticipate it you will catch it before the traction control does!
  19. That was what I was enquiring about, but these are already in production so i don't understand the undergoing testing bit.
  20. When I bought my car I paid £220, I think, for the first 2 services in advance. I got vouchers.
  21. There has been plenty said about the IS430 on these forums. Do a search on "IS430" and you should find alot of interesting stuff. :D
