I wonder could I trouble those that know about hybrids v storage to share their wisdom/experience/knowledge please? My beloved ES may be driverless for 3 months. What should I be doing in the interests of protecting the cars batteries and electrical system during that hiatus? Trickle charger? Any preferred make/model? All replies gratefully received. Thanks in anticipation. PeteTP

Hello, I may have cause to be out of the country for >1 month and am considering storing my beloved ES in a secure facility. The problem is I’ve never had a cause to use such a facility before. Would there be any members out there who have done such a thing in East Anglia and been impressed with the service they received? All responses of wisdom and experience gratefully received. May I venture to suggest that an otherwise routine manoeuvre became affected by your subconscious anxiety to protect your new car? I managed to do the same some years ago on my wife’s new car. She wasn’t happy at all , understandably. Think it isn’t something that detracts from your character or intelligence, but deeply annoying. PeteTP

Spoke to my dealership today regarding a possible software update to my Jul ‘20 ES. I established that there isn’t an update enabling wireless AA for my ES vintage.So, I’ll stick with using my wired connection from the phone rather than investing in an entirely new car….that has it via a touchscreen system. PeteTP

If you have a HOLD function then this avoids you having to keep foot on the brake pedal as well as not annoying the car behind, especially at night. Just my 2p worth. PeteTP

Hello Hello, Thanks for your advice. Thought stainless was corrosion free. Also bit surprised that Lexus have used inferior quality material. Did you ask about replacement FoC? Hmmm, that has cast doubt in my mind. Wonder has anyone else shared your experience? Thanks again. PeteTP
