  4. Thats fantastic well OTT :D How did you get satellite TV in ? What satellite nav software/hardware did you use? I had mine converted to an Hitachi system but that looks great. Did you manage to keep the touchscreen working with your sat nav conversion.
  5. I dont see why you cant change a UK one, as I dont have one cant really say how though. Any good car audio installer will should be able to do it and charge you by the hour for labour. As for mine, the Japs come with TV but its NTSC. So the TV tuner was removed, replaced with a standard PAL TV tuner and then the monitor had to be converted to PAL to work. Once the TV tuner was in I had 2 pairs of AUX AV inputs extra on the TV tuner. One I used to connect up the DVD/MP3 changer and the other for a line in for my Ipod. Plus there was an extra AV input on the DVD changer, so I have another spare input for a playstation, camera etc.. The hard bit was converting the monitor to PAL.. you wouldnt have to do that, so in theory it should be easier for you.
  6. 2006 Model Changes: Rear lights, headlights, wheels, front spoiler, additional gadgets Bluetooth etc. 2006 Peeble Beach Edition. 2006 Happy Edition Big question is will there be an intercooler in that happy editions hole :P
  7. BTW The new Luxlink comes with additional features, I believe thats why it says on the site their out of stock.. im pretty sure they stopped selling them whilst the new one was being tested. Anyway I would try and get the new one. The only thing I know about it is it also operates the rear quarter windows.
  8. The Luxlink is made by Luxurymotorworks.com so you can only buy it there. I would doubt very much if any UK dealers have heard of it let alone fitted one. I have the remote top and remote start on the same module it comes with instructions and I think he even offers a DVD showing installation. If you have the remote starter as well then it requires disabling the imobiliser. I would suggest you do what I did and just have a local car audio fitter install it, the Luxlink is very discreet (size of a matchbox) so I dont think anyone would notice it in a insurance claim or warranty claim. I dont see how it would effect warranty much like if you put an aftermarket radio in then that wouldnt void the cars warranty. If you live nr south london then I can recommend the car that fitted mine. As for the Luxlink itself, its a very neat gizmo and turns alot of heads when they see the roof going up and down on its own!
  9. 06 are out in the states now.. but Id imagine it will be a long time b4 you see one here. Changes where very minor, new wheels, front spoiler changed, headlights slighty different, new colours and interior colours.
  10. http://www.jemcarsales.co.uk/uzz400012076.htm Its a nice looking one, trouble is to convert the sat nav and telly your looking about £2K .. but the price is good. M3 ? lol who wants a car that depreciates like crap and everyone else has An M3 is a hair dressers car where a Lexus isnt :D
  11. Guess that means I'll have to make my own nox fuel.
  12. Maybe by parody their just having a joke about the windups throughout their site. But they do seem real.
  13. This is what she said on another forum this morning...
  14. Its real friend bought 30 litres delivered next day. But I wanna know about the Nox fuel
  15. Just stumbled across this, anyone know anything about it or tried it? Its £5 a litre. http://www.petroldirect.com/petrol.htm
  16. Ahh its easy for you.. you just have to sit your officers exam... I will have to sell my soul to the devil and sacrifice small sheep in the name of the almighty hulla-hoop. Or atleast spend 10k on a supercharger.
  17. Do you plan on modifying the car? As that would no doubt void your warranty. Also I would imagine you could pay maybe as much a 5K extra buying from a dealer. TBH I think the sc430 is a far more reliable and well built car then the alternatives (Mercs and Boxters) I would rather save myself 5K and buy some 20" wheels and a Wald bodykit. :P
  18. Servicing costs are pretty reasonable. Service which was £200. You should see 20+ mpg. With the roof up the boot is pretty big.. much bigger then a BMW E46 convertible. I can get a weeks shopping in the boot with the roof down, you've just gotta squeeze it in real good. :P Only thing I would like is a bit more power.
  19. If you think 18 look small then you should really get 20. I saw these on ebay look quite nice... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW Most dealers wont stock anything as big as 20x10. But then fat tyres are gonna cost a packet so 20X8.5 would be easier on your pocket.
  20. I think 20X8.5 on the front and 20x10 on the back would be about it, although Ive heard you can get 20x11 on the back no probs. Lowering wont make much difference.. you will still get them on, just the ride will be very hard. Anything bigger then 20" and they bend very easily (I bent one on the Range Rover). You wont get a 22" on an sc430.
  21. Bad idea :yack: Unless you like your ride hard. I just carry a can of squirty, much better.

  24. Mines an aftermarket system with front and rear sensors seperate from the sat nav and also talks to me. Unfortunatly theres not many sc430 owners here. Your best bet would be... http://www.clublexus.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=63
