I agree with you totally. I do the same, who is ex-Lexus anyway. And if you start taking it away from standard, and modding it, the target market when it move on time is reduced as well, so go indi and save a few quid.

Call me lazy or what ever, but as a quick reply is all I ask then I thought I would post the question, besides my current location has a real slow connection and searching can take hours ....... well over the last couple of months it has helped to pass the hours :D Anyway enough waffle.... As others have said in previous threads, you need to weigh up the age of the car, and how long you plan to keep it for...... as some stage in it's life a FLSH won't really make a lot of difference....... I know it won't why I get rid of mine. I had the 60K done at an independant, using Lexus parts - £234, which I thought was reasonable.

Don't know if they still are in financial strife, but it would explain why they got there in the first place. I moved house 18 months ago into a new build site that didn't install cable, so I cancelled the the only remaining service I had with them, broadband - that turned out to be a real farce as well - still got the modem in the garage after contacting them several times to send a pre paid jiffy bag. Grade A T :tsktsk: rs

Welcome tomcat, you will find the guys very helpful here, quite a few are well clued up, and if anything you ask has already been asked then someone will usually point you in the right direction. Enjoy the company, there is usually a good bit of banter between the older members.

100% with you Mr Morse, I do the same now, a load easier and you usually get a reasonable software suite with the high end phones - got two bluetooth adapters in the desk draw - even the daughter uses the cable to transfer all her music.

Did you set the phone up to be seen by the pc, sometimes this is the problem - will send the info one way but because it can't be seen then the info won't be accepted. Sorry if I have stated the obvious!
