Garmin StreetPilot series are good. I have the 310, was on special at Halfords at the time £199, but there are other models. Found it rather good, used a bit for finding out of the way leisure centres and schools when taking the daughter to swimming galas over s wales and the west country. Not too fancy, portable, downloadable POIs for SAFETY cameras etc. quick satellite locking, touch screen, full postcode entry..... New 5xx series has all the bluetooth bits.... Worth checking out

When I first had mine, fully loaded up with the missus and kids after one of those sunday retail park visits and got wasted by a serious poser in an Astra..driving gloves, the lot ...... nothing fancy. Thought to myself then, I could have gone and bought a 328 bee emm but they are just soooo common :P Round my way there are loads of lights and roundabouts..... they all pull up and eyeball for challange..... I just let them blitz off and just enjoy the quiet in the cabin..... you know half of them wishes they had the class and style of the IS :P :P

As standard------ SHEEP IN WOLVES CLOTHES I didn't get mine for the performance, I just wanted something other than a 3 series - a mate had an IS for a while, 200 sport, I drove it...... loved it....... bought one :D It walks the walk in the style department but, as the others have said, to talk the talk costs big bucks.... just chill and enjoy the class :D

Can't see them bothering with the forum. I sent a request for information email to Cardiff Lexus yesterday, I know it's only 24hrs but a simple reply to say they are going to respond to it within x amount of days would be good. I guess that because it wasn't for the possible availability and sale of a 30K car, then it gets put to the bottom of the pile........ will wait to see!

Hi and welcome to LOC :D Searching will usually get you what you are after, but on the odd chance it doesn't the peeps on here can advise you or at least point you in the right direction. If it's tweaking you're after then there's deffo some knowledge here - and quite a few seem to have a money tree at the bottom of their gardens :P You'll need one as well if you want top performance, 'cos the IS don't go how she looks like she should - sheep in wolfs clothes :P Anyway enjoy your stay :D

The valve caps don't last long round my way either - back to black so to speak. Gutting about the scratch - makes you want to throttle the bas***ds. At the risk of not being pc, and regarding people who take what's not theirs - the missus informed me last night that on a large open field, about 500m from the house, a load of gypsies have decided to make a new estate. Told her to make sure everything is locked up tight whenever she leaves the house - problem is there are only 26 houses in the court and 80% must be empty all day long...... worrying -

Managed to escape Cameroon for 9 days at the begining of July to get to Cyprus - Was in the south -Ayia Napa - 51 of us for my niece's wedding - first time I have wanted to get back to work :duh: Couldn't have drunk any more if I tried Never been to the North in the few times I've been there, the kids are in tow and they just don't do sightseeing It was mad hot then, easy believe it's in the 40's Anyway, enjoy the vacation and the family Ahmet :D
