I do not think so as I am amazed at how many uninformed posters are on this thread. This will upset their apple cart (LOL) but will never be shown on the MSM

Proxy mates ? Now who has been doing that for the past 3 decades ? When has Russia ever said (under Putin) they want to invade any country in Europe ? Putin gave clear warnings that he would not tolerate NATO in the Ukraine (ignored by the US) and also told those Nazi’s who were put into power by Nullan & Co in 2014 to stop killing those civilians (ethnic Russians) in the Donbas (again ignored) Read the same for China with those nuts in DC prod prodding each and every year simply to provoke a conflict. Etc Etc Etc BTW the US could stop the genocide tomorrow by telling Isreal not one dollar more until you do, but no they fund them with money and weapons (like the UK also) Stop that and the Read Sea conflict will go away

Book it into Costco then & get shot of those things. (IMO)

https://www.aeg.co.uk/promotions/winter-event/?page=1&d2cSellable=true&category=vacuum-cleaners-%26-home-comfort%2Fvacuum-cleaners%2Fstick-vacuum-cleaners I remember when Dyson first came out and we all thought how good they were (until I bought one) as for the first time you could see inside just what had been sucked up unlike those before that had it all hidden in a bag. Clever marketing idea but the piece of plastic tat soon fell apart and I ended up with a Miele who made quality kit or AEG who also make some nice designed & functional stuff. Dyson are still the masters at marketing though & now just charge some laughable prices for what to me is still plastic tat , just my opinion mind and not what most think.

Thanks for you quick reply as this is exactly what I was trying to say & it is all good then. Will spend the next day or so studying what to buy (pair) and the Hankook K127A Ventus S1 EVO 3 has caught my eye.

Unfortunately I needed to pull this out from its cosy nest in the boot today (as a result of a moments stupid inattention) offered it up and had a double take on the wheel nut fit as it not the same as the wheel. IE the integral washer that is part of the wheel nut when fitted to the alloy is quite some distance away from the steel rim of the s/saver so plays no part in this case. Yes the bevel on the end of the nut seems to seat onto the location area of the steel rim but looked odd but did tighten, checked tightness again after a few miles and all good so got me home. Everything is OE and was clearly just how it had come out of the dealer when new inc plastic bag for the dirty road wheel. Never used a space saver before so does this sound correct (assuming I have made sense) to anyone used to these things.

I wonder what lodge he frequents as its odds on the magistrate has a funny handshake.

Nice Touch Lexus Stoke

Stoke on Trent ? Visited that dealer once and was treated like a leper at the service desk (wrote about it on here) and would never go there again. -

Must admit I have never used the map system on my car, as the phone will be in its holder on a journey I simply let Apple map show me the way. Why pay all that to Lexus when most of us have it in our phones ? -
Funny how tastes differ, now for me I would instantly pass by that pastel blue (to think someone ordered that new) 2 door money pit..

No do not use a puck front or back , only the side jacking points (IMO) Something like this jack is nice with its big cup on the contact area & it also looks like its a twist handle to lower / raise which is better. Not saying this particular one but this type. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403826274550?hash=item5e05ebf0f6:g:WEEAAOSwOxFgBEWi&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8H3myPoRGH7fefEa%2BvC5bcrGwqFQdQLgQ2CmMKGU%2FdDHjvpKStPSEC4Q%2BuVVfCArXXsOnyyCwLXFJaHYbq2XCoJGs7B96NBfywvRcIxW94%2B5iFWXB5TJZIB2IIdYubi5lHFkGvHcrvyRwHTlewYrIh6tkX9627s9y7gvi6%2BPfDS0KJaS43Oy3YFTyCJIkr0N7f%2F8WkHIn3Ged9ze8r%2BpenqUvyzAaVwEQkkWrIUvUCE9FKkRJqAe%2BzPXoJOTOCVvIp4xDTsGFGqKG42htFxuMSm8L1nVXNsxVkbUf8DxZfbd8gpG5F14Keq4rVSTw4v6FA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBMvp2csvhi

Failed MOT fast idle CO
VFR replied to shanra's topic in LS 400 / Lexus LS 430 / Lexus LS 460 / Lexus 600h / Lexus 500h Club
I would at least have a full tank of BP Ultimate or Shell V-Power in the week leading up to an MOT if I were having any doubts about emissions -
I also remember the gas man arriving to light the street gas lamp with a “evening gas” from a passer by. Bob the greengrocer with his horse & cart doing his rounds. The pea soupers where it was hard to see where you were going walking home. All in London BTW

From a time when a public servant had integrity & would instantly resign if caught lying. To now where lying is simply second nature & integrity is an unknown word. From a time where you were guaranteed to cut yourself many times when shaving with a 7 o/clock blade to now flying along with at least a triple blade razor. From a time when “you had to” spend at least part of your day off checking / fixing whatever you rode / drove. To now servicing your car once a year & grease guns are now in museums. From a time when most of the world trusted the US. To now when most of the world despise it.

More time in the dealer than on the road
VFR replied to stevewagster's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
The first few lines caused my eyebrows to contract. Brand new car. Yes leave it in the road. Battery flat. Grease all over. (Or have I missed something ?) My first call would have been to Lexus to come and pick the car up ASAP & not get a mate to start doing this & that.
