why would you choose a IS300 over cars like a lambo or ferrari porsche bentley etc?? mine comes down to a lambo murcielaga , ferrari 360 spyder or bentley continental T but i'll go with the.................hmmmm harder decision than i thought.........but i'll have a .................lambo please......no bentley.........how bout the ferrari.............. ok ok the lamborghini:?:

hi loz welcome to the club. congratulations on the new ride. i get my car on the 1st september. im sure theres a lot of members from up and around there and tey would be happy to introduce u to the seen. oh yeah one piece of advice- APPLY FOR GOLD MEMBERSHIP. it costs a measaly £25 a yr and gets you up to 15% off services and accesorries for your car from participating lexus dealers and you get discounts for loadsa other things:D

i agree with u there mate bout the soundproofing andy. but i'd say to have the front of the car sound proofed 2 even if your front speakers aint very powerfull the subs can still send vibrations through to the front end. if i have mine done in january at sqplus im gonna put a couple of 1000watt subs and 3 amps 2 for the subs and one for the main speakers. gonna have the car dynamated fully!!!!!!

could do grIm, if my contacts come through this week i should have the new nokia 7650 camera phone so i could take the picture with that and load onto here with the data cable. if not i'll get someone to do it for me. steve i'll try and get a digital camera to photo some of my girlfriends with the car, although there may be a problem putting them together without them catching me. try and get hold of 2 or 3 of my ex's they wont mind bein together.

chris- can you deliver it before 11.30am?? need to be in birmingham by 12.20pm????? steve pictures shouldnt be a problem although i aint got a digital cam'. try and borrow 1 off someone dnt worry

does anyone know where i can source a set of AVS Model 5 alloys. i saw them on www.prolexperformance.com but it wont let me check prices or aplications for them or anything else including bodykits. may be my PC, i dunno.

just took my dad to my lexus dealers to have a look at my car but it was locked in the garage because parts and services are not in til tuesday (lucky chris). i also took them some more money for the car. while i was there dad was looking at the LS430. he sat in it but he thought it was ok nothing special. the guy there (kevin= top man) gave him the keys without my dad asking (top class customer service). so off we went he was insatntly impressed with the throttle response and engine noise, well lack of it. he also liked the feel of it handling wise. he was also amazed at the sat nav with its pin-point accuracy (his words). as kevin was sitting in front me and my little bro was in the back, wow!! the center arm rest and control console was down. massaging seats that work harder and faster the more u press the button. air con cooled seats, heated seats, can control the stereo from the back. back seats move forwards and backwards. button control of rear blind. it was ace. drinks cooler box behind the armrest and cupholders in the armrest. well we went back and we all got out impressed, even my dad who really loved the car. funny thing is he told kevin before he got in the car he is a mercedes man! he still is but is really considering the LS because of standard spec, engine response and general driving pleasure. he said if he doesnt fiind a bentley then it will be between a S class, CL600 and the LS430. But due to the brilliant customer services and how they talk to you like your a normal person and lack of 'were doing you a favour by letting you test drive this car' attitude he might be swayed over to the Lexus side of things.

Porsche mate every time!!!!!!!!! 350Z is nice but it aint no porsche, 30-40k on clock is nothing, porsches are built 2 last. just look at the old 968,928 , 944 etc old cars still going strong!!

if you take your car to a proper audio dealer and fitter you can have an enclosure built with perspex, its like a clear hard plastic that they cut and design how u want to fit in your car with all the right holes cut to fit the subs amps etc. this stuff is the ***** and makes carpeted boxes look crap. i've got a carpeted box now but never again. wouldnt use velcro at all mate, it wouldnt hold my JL audio down so it definatly hold ur 2 MTX's. brackets are much better

how about a sticker or some text like suggested on the number plate with the username on aswell, then we know exactly who's car it is:?:

dunno but doesnt matter if it was $100 or $10000 it looks *****! main thing is they dont buy a Lex' and do the same to it
