I was in The Place nightclub in Hanley tonight. I saw a really pretty girl as I was looking I got busted but she smiled (and a very nice smile it was). anyway I went over got chating to her and she was really nice, not the stuck up type that needs bringing down to earth. I walked her to her car and there was a red KA next to a silver Lexus IS200 sport. so I thought she was in the KA, BUT then she took her keys out and the Lexus flashed as she pressed the key fob. I stopped in my tracks as she opened the door. I had the bigest smile ever and I was laughin , , when she asked why I told her about my Lexus. Anyway drove home laughing all the way. Meeting her on Tuesday.:D:smilegrin::P

i agree. why change to a totally new design when the current one is good. if the engines fit , use them! just hope for some decent mpg's and better paint please LEXUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ladies will love the car, especially when I tint the windows and put the new system in. They will love that beige interior:D. as long as there's 2 in the back and 1 up front then they won't call it "sad" and neither will I:D:cool:

yeah grIm. no point to that was there. i aint slating the altezza but it was a class race

was driving through stafford on my way home when i pulled up to the lights there was a MERC C36 AMG. in front wot i thought was a IS200. turned my bass down to listen to the MERC engine. as the lights changed the merc over took the LEXUS. only then i saw it was an altezza. the lexus gave a huge roar and it busted. it closed the gap the merc left. then tried to overtake (by this time we was on dual carriageway heading for stoke, not the way iwas supposed to go but had to see this) BUT the MERC also busted and and would'nt let the LEX past. by this time i was doin 90 in my 1.3 and they was miles ahead (they must of hit at least 130mph). as i got to the top of the hill on carriageway i could see the merc ahead and the lex well behind so i think merc driver won. shame but you gotta love them AMG's:rolleyes:

the calipers and stickers look ace mate. how long did it take you to paint the calipers and how many coats? also what paint did you use as i've seen a few diff' ones

i went and test drove a beemer 320Ci. i do like them but nowhere near as good value or spec as the Lex and beemer is more common on the streets. aint got that rugged pimp/gangster look like the Lex........................

ok how much would it cost to have them fitted at lexus?? would it affect the warranty??

Supercharged........ I'm not saying they are not light racing wheels, I just don't like them, down to personnal preference. Sorry but blitz look the best. I might go for some 18inch kahns or OZ Vela 2 piece rims. that is if I can't get some chromes:rolleyes:

Haven't had mine yet but I will change it in 2005. If the Lexus bring out the coupe with a more powerfull engine, better paint and full leather options then I will go for that but otherwise ................... Might switch to the new Audi TT when its out, a TVR tuscan (if I can get insured) or a Ferrari 360 and a Lambo' (haha should of won the lottery by then). apoligise now if I switch to another marque
