Is it 2023 or 2024? Any difference? Almost got the same colour. Looks great! -
Six speaker sound system - good/bad? UX 250h
nivlem replied to N GJ's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
It all depends to the listener, the six speaker is enough but could be better if only Lexus could have added some control to all trims not just with ML system. My previous Corolla has it why cant Lexus. Anyway, its good enough as well to hide the tyre noise from those Runflats. -
Six speaker sound system - good/bad? UX 250h
nivlem replied to N GJ's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
Its good enough for me to listen to music and radio. It depends on how you want your sounds to be, do you want it banging and booming then its not the right system for you as its oppose the car to be calm and quiet on the road. But would like to have more control on the sound system in which i think only available on higher trim which is the mark levinson system. Lexus could have added it all to all trim. -
Lexus UX versus Toyota C-HR Premiere Edition
nivlem replied to Goodplan53's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
I too have second thoughts on getting the CHR instead of the UX but once I got the UX I have made the right decision. Lexus has always been more premium than Toyota. Yes, specs wise CHR seems to be more uprated than the UX but retaining value Lexus tops the ChR. The VED really is a real pain in the back side of owning new cars above 40k. Im just in time when the 2nd generation of UX comes out probably 2026. -
235/50 18 on stock F-sport wheel?
nivlem replied to Mike KL's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
Im sure it will fit 235/50/18 on stock f sport wheels and speedometer difference is negligible and MPG is still dependent on your driving style and driving conditions. -
Thinking of moving to UX
nivlem replied to adnewton's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
The 2024 UX will use the same 2l engine from the CHR which is the 5th generation hybrid system but Lexus do some tweaks for the UX. As far as the 2nd generation of UX, its timeline is between late 2025 and early 2026. Insurance is really higher then the CHR compared to Lexus UX is more premium than the CHR but as of now Toyota is leading the Lexus in terms of design and specs even though its the same conpany. -
UX Trade in against a new LBX
nivlem replied to stevewagster's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
Its not definite of course, it could be different situation but as soon as you drove your new car out of the dealership its value drops, its a business of course they have to get the most money from your car if they sell it again. -

I would think its half the price of what you paid for. But depends on your dealer and your relationship with them, as they would always value your car from the lowest to their mid range values. If you have been with them for a while and you service the car then most probably you get a good deal but would always get a third party to value your car first rather than the dealer atleast you will have an estimate -
I got mine from Ali Express as well. Had it since August last year. Theres loads there. If not Ebay has it and even amazon.

All models will have automated back door entry/ kick sensor. I think not much changes until the redesign on 2026.

F Sport Design - No keyless entry !!
nivlem replied to KevH's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
Yes theres no keyless entry for F sport design. Its standard on higher trims/ models and optional premium plus pack on base model. But cars with keyless entry are easily get stolen or cloned than non key less entry cars. IMO. -

I think its just the characteristic of run flat tyres. -
12.3 inch vs 8.0 inch infotainment screen
nivlem replied to Pavan's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
I have the f sport design as well with the 8 inches screen. No difference from the 12.3 inches it does the same thing apart from being a larger screen and looks which is always subjective. I also been thinking of getting the base UX with premium plus pack but the VED surcharge is the real bummer. Any car 40k and above has to pay the surcharge for 5 years. But happy with the f sport design at the moment. -
I would love to have an automatic rear tailgate on my UX but it poses a lot of issues in my opinion. Yes its convenient to have especially when you loading things in your boot but with the boot size of the UX you cant really fill up your boot without obstructing the rear tailgate to close. And it expensive to replaced as the motor is built in the shocks itself ( covered by warranty maybe). And the noise that everyone experiencing. Since 2024 all models would have automatic rear tailgate i would probably retrofit mine at some point so at the moment woild still be doing the old pushing down of the boot. Lol

Mileage and range?
nivlem replied to Martin Bailey's topic in Lexus UX200, UX250, UX250h, UX300e Club
I have my UX Fsport design for more than a month now and already done atleast 3100miles. Always getting 50-56mpg even with a heavy right foot. Range from full tank is about 486 miles range. I dont think premium petrol really makes the difference in terms of performance or MPG. You can barely feel the difference so rather save some few quids rather than filling up with premium petrol in my opinion. -
