    What I love most about this car is that it doesn’t encourage you to drive like an idiot, instead rewarding a lighter right foot with a serene and comfortable experience. My previous car had twice the power of this one and I have to confess that the re-arrangement of internal organs during a burst of ‘spirited’ driving became very wearing and stressful.

    Agreed, and I expect Lexus will eventually sort it. In the meantime, I guess we’ll occasionally have to go through the laborious process of switching on our own headlights….😱

    As Ken says, but I would add that it won’t work if you stand by the tailgate after pressing the button. You have to press it and walk away. It will then close the tailgate and lock the whole vehicle.

    I’ve tried to find out if the lights come on with the wipers. In all of my previous cars with dusk sensing lights and rain sending wipers it takes about four sweeps of the wipers to activate the automatic headlamps. They don’t seem to come on at all with the NX. Of course, I can switch them on manually (ah, the good old days…) but I’m wondering if I’m missing something…? 🤔

    Apologies, I know the subject of runflats is well documented on here but I’m interested to know if anyone here has changed their Bridgestone runflats on their gen 2 350h or 450h with 20” wheels. If so, what to, and with what sort of results? TIA Jason

    Hi Folks! Just taken delivery of a new NX450h+ Takumi in sonic titanium with dark rose leather. So far so good, very pleased with its quality and robust feel. The drive is taking some getting used to after my last car but I’m finding it very relaxing and the economy and overall efficiency is something of a revelation!

    Hello all 😊 just picked up my new NX450h+ Takumi. Sonic titanium with dark rose leather. Very pleased with the car overall and am so far very impressed with its frugality (my previous car averaged 24mpg!) and its perceived quality and handling/ride balance. Looking forward to many miles of serene, relaxed driving. Many other Lexus owners on here living in Cornwall? Jason
