Do you mean a turbo and a supercharger together? There are rumours that VW will do this to a 1.4 in the golf next year, about 170bhp
-
I'm not technically minded either, but there are 2 sorts, the stuff you get on the yank tanks - a "roots" type, and the one fitted to the cars here. Both are driven from a belt from the crankshaft - the bit that the pistons drive - they then drive a turbine in the air intake to push more air into the engine. You can then pump in a bit more fuel and get a stronger explosion in the cylinders. Now watch me get shot down!!

Official Pricing For Is250/is220d
altezzaz replied to convert's topic in Lexus IS200 / Lexus IS300 Club
It's probably worth pointing out that Subaru are looking to raise their prices, so I suspect all Japanese manufacturers will do the same to capitalise on the perceived quality image, and to distance themselves from the Koreans. Sounds like the Lexus is still 20% cheaper than the BMers, and you won't have to wait 3 months for it to be built to your precise specification. What I'm trying to say is that the era of the really cheap executive quality car may well be over. -
R12 Or R134a

A very silly reply..... but most systems have a sticker to tell you which refridgerant they use -
The Manual RS is a little tricky to get hold of and there are a few companies that will try to palm you off with the AS200. I had an RS200 for 3 years and it was great fun

I didn't think you were allowed to modify the engine in France?

Altezza In Japan - Rs200 Saloon Or As300 Wagon?
altezzaz replied to Chiba's topic in Lexus Japanese Import Club
Not sure anyone has imported an AS300 before, and I'm afraid I don't know what the rules are on on personal imports, but last time I the SVA rules mean that you can only import the RS200 tiptronic - please make sure you find out before you're lumbered with a car you can't drive... -
Drivers side is 22 and passenger side 19, if memory serves

one thing I've noticed about the new surfaces is that they don't drain as well either, but they didn't mention that last night

Altezza mirrors aren't heated....
