I guy from the street next to mine came around to apologies for calling the police :P He said that all he could see was someones legs squeezing through the bathroom window!

Decided to take my old Satelitte Dish down from the back of the house.To do this I decided to climb out of the bathroom window, onto the kitchen roof. :) took it down Job Done!! :winky: I then decided to reply to an email I had recieved and while at the computer noticed a Police officer looking in through the front window looked behind me and saw another two at back door So I went to the front door to see what was up there were 6 coppers and 3 police cars outside!!!! the one asked me who I was and for some ID one of my neighbours had reported seeing someone breaking into my house!!!! :o Whoops!!!!!!!!! nice to know the neighbour hood watch is working! :D

To right (although personally will enjoy Chelsea and Liverpool to go through and the mancs and gooners go out!) Come on you reds tomorrow night!!!! :winky: YNWA

I have'nt had the 60 & 70 Thou service done yet!But It was the service manager that actually pointed it out to me as the 60 thou service would cost me £620!! they also do 10 months payment scheme.but I think only before the service!

Have you enquired about the lexus pre paid service plan? 2 services £470 or 3 from £670. I'm having 2 year one to cover my 60,000 & 70,000 services and saving a wad of wonga! :D

You don't see the Lexus advertised like BMW's or Mercedes in the media but it seems to still get customers and keep them!! :) I myself bought one as I just love everything about Lexus! :D Lexus stands for Quality of workmanship,Quality for money(all the standard equipment you get in a lexus that you pay for with other car makers),Quality service(when you go into a lexus dealership,they make yuo feel welcome whether your a protential customer or a customer thats bought a used Lexus!something that I have never had even from buying a brand new car from Ford or Vauxhall!!)Then theres the prestige of owing a lexus.If your asked by someone 'what car do you drive?' when yuo say 'a A Lexus' they look at you as if your some sort high flyer!Yes It's a Toyota deep down but Toyota are renowned for quality and a lexus is just that litttle bit More in peoples eyes. It might just be me but when I'm in a carpark there are all sorts of cars there,Mercs,BMW's No-one takes much notice of them as there are Lots about but a 'LEXUS' Stands out!!!

:P There have been a few for sale on ebay the past few weeks!just look every other day one is bound to pop up. :winky:

:D I've found that if you burn the discs at a very low speed (4x to 8x) then there are no problems with CDR discs.But when I first used them in my stereo I burnt them at full speed (x48 to x52) and they skipped and jumped all overthe place!!! :P

Someone has to keep the faith.

Hello all :D after a couple of weeks on the public forum I've become a Gold Member and have been very impressed with the knowledge of members.

:D FancyPlates.com did my plates with Lexus logo on the side (were the EU flag should be) and lexus in bottom right.They do allsorts but I suggest you have UK standard lettering to keep it legal

I got some (mainly for the back windscreen)and tried it on the front windscreen and wish I never.smear city!!!well advised to put on rear windscreen but steer clear of the front :D

:D Hi Nick, I was at Lexus Birmingham and they actually advised me to do just that.My Is200 is due its 50,000 service and they advised me to pay for that service and then buy a 2 year plan to cover the Big 60,000 service then also the 70,000 service!!! saving a couple of hundred quid!! :winky:

Sorry to here about your ordeal.It's so annoying when you look after something that you own and some scumbag just thinks 'hey I'll have some of that' and just takes it.although it's been said already'at least your ok!but It doesn't make it Right! :tsktsk:

I've had the same problem regarding my Cd player in my Lexus is200 (2001reg) just will not allow cd to be put in. spoke to my local lexus dealership and they just said book it in and the cd player will be sorted out under warranty.no questions asked!! :D they are aware of the problems with the cd player whether it is the error message or not accepting disks!!! :) and as quoted in an earlier posting Lexus have extended warranty for 5 years.9only from when the car was 1st registered!!

Hello all. I've just bought my first Lexus is200 my dream motor!!! :D . Can anyone tell me if My lexus has a parking sensor as I've looked in the manual and can't find anything.when I put it into reverse there is a bleeping! does this happen just as a warning that it's in reverse or is it a sensor. It's an Is200 registered in Aug 2001.many thanks in advance
