  1. glad i could be of help, finally :) i find them pages on there of some use Steve
  2. just been doing some research on it, 20 quids worth of leds, to do the full cluster, theres a breakers near me im going to try to get a cluster from, ill have to test the voltage to the, needles, ive found some 12V 1mm orange smd's so they should be ok, ting is though if i get a new cluster that works without me messing with the needles, how do i alter the mileage on the "new" cluster to whats on the car, if you know what i mean Steve
  3. i should be able to find another cluster, either to swap or replace the needles myself, i just fancied it doing "properly" the needles look simple to repair to be honest, just fiddly, smd leds its just the sticking it all back together thats going to be funny
  4. has any one used lextech in the US to get there needles repaired?. all mine are either gone or on their way out?. i know you can get the speedo and tacho from lex themselves , but not the temp and fuel any whoo, just wondered if they were ok and if any one had probs getting the clusters back into the UK?. or if any one has a nackered cluster :) Steve
  5. like i said UP north :) ive been searching for a place a "little" closer to home EG leeds, you cant tell me there isnt one place up here that dont do diamond???? but i have heard of lepsons if i cant get em dun up here ill have to travel a bit :) Ta Steve
  6. fuel filter is (if its a mk1) just in front of the rear passenger wheel arch, under car there is a aluminuim heat shield kind o thing, held on with 4 10mm bolts filter is behind that, simple enough job, but be warned get ready for fuel everywhere :) get ur stuff ready for the swap over, you wont have time to mess with it, i undid the 10mm bolt holding it inplace then undid the main fuel lines then ragged it out and stuck the new one in, total time 5 minutes, then 5 hours stinking of petrol :)
  7. Can you remember where you got them refurb'd mine are in desperate needs of a re do, and finding a place up north that does diamond cut is near impossible Ta Steve
  8. there isnt one im affraid http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/spark_plugs/na/index.html thats a very helpfull page, used this before, just make sure you drain a little coolant of first, or it will spill on the top of the engine hardest thing is getting the coolant pipe off Steve
  9. now call of duty 2 is one hell of a game, got it on pc and ps2
  10. just gone on rac web site and stuck the number plate in got this back Manufacturer LEXUS Model GS300 Body type 4 DOOR SALOON Colour BLACK Fuel type PETROL Date manufactured 31 December 1997 Number of previous owners 5 Last owner change 01 December 2005 i used this when i got my lexus, found it to be acurate Steve
  11. yes :) allthough you go to a toyota dealers in Wakefield and the lexus and toyota share NO parts , i went in for some thing silly and found that out
  12. yip mk4 its basically a mk4 supra with a boot, and a bit more comfort :)
  13. try "dewsbury auto salvage" they have some mk1's in soz dont know number :) Steve
  14. My Vote goes for the first ones, then you can sell me the sport alloys :) well i can dream, but seriously the sport alloys look alot better
  15. i wouldnt mind a set of 10's but with the probs you had RR i most prob not get any, plus ive yet to find a recon place up me. as they really really needs doing they look crap
  16. nearly as many as my black one :) black is another car color that u cant keep clean i think last time was washed was for jae last year ;) Steve
  17. Dangerous , to be honest i prefer the supra, hey dont start :) i had 2 supras a 2.5tt aero mk3 and a TT mk4. got the lexus cos i thought id matured, but guess what i aint , and the gs300 im affraid aint a spot on the supras, granted i can get my shopping in em, but speeds , no chance, comfort theres no contest, i just wish id have kept my TT from my other car, and transplanted it into the gs (only said that cos ive just seen my old 2.5 in Leeds) :(:(:(:(:( i want my car back :(
  18. just a couple of web sites of interest http://www.dreamboxworld.com/dbw/ http://drhans.jinak.cz/ this is basically it
  19. Nice shoot down there ahmet but im not a postie "my mate asked me about this earlier so i had a look n the net and found quite a lot of companies offering tv/satellite thru the pc, many also offer some SKY channels - i think its just a scam. has anyone tried this???" If you get a satellite card connected, and the proper software, along with a dish preferably a motorised one you can get satellite tv, as for sky i very much doubt it, some sky channels maybe the fta stuff you get on 28 east i thought about this idea myself then plumed for a satellite receiver bought a dreambox 7000s a 1.8m dish (size matters) :) allthought a 80cm is ok using keys on the net and the emulators you will be OK their is one way to get sky on a BD and thats using cardshare, but this is a very close nit thing *just to reply to the start post*
  20. forget it sky uses a system called NDS which is (trust me) on satellite untouchable, weve been trying for years, it uses a different approach than the normal, encryption i have tried pc cards, (soft cams work but not on sky) Bret if u want "free" tv give me a shout oh and its conditional access module ive been doing this since the old days of filmnet (dmac) trust me i kno what im on about you lot play with lexus (i drive one ) i do encription systems Steve
  21. also if your using Azureus, i (and others) suggest you disable DHT , better still just do it :) to do it do this Tools>options>plug ins>distributed DB untick "enable distributed database" tools >options>plug ins>distributed tracker, untick "only track normal....." Tools>tracker>sharing , uncheck all options i say this as with this checked it gives out your passkey and basically is a security risk, 90% of all bt sites warn of having this option ENABLED also get peerguardian 2 from methlabs just trying to keep u safe :) Steve
  22. used a few BT clients, azureus, is one of the better ones out there, allthough there has been reports of it being somewhat of a resource hog
  23. takes some really close up pics of mine will send em when i get up , this afternoon , as its bed time for me
