    erm bought car for 3k, about 3 years ago, ,, erm bought 2 disks, and a brake seal kit and a cam belt cant think of anything more but ive not spent hardly anything on it :)

    yeah , me , both vista ultimate and windows are x64 , i havnt used a x86 OS since x64 came out , only probs is the now and again and it is rare driver problem, , plus some games have little official patches to utlilise the x64 arcitecture. makes em run better :)

    Awww i thought we were going to have a fight then between the mk1 and the mk2 owners ;) as which was the best car, either way there both damn good cars, built like tanks mines done over 121k and still going strong.

    by the seal you mean the big one that goes all the way round the boot , as im getting a nice puddle in my wheel "trough"

    Yes Keith, you are right 2 on exhaust manifold, 1 under carpet, just looked at manual :) according to the manual ;) heres the figures @ 20c (68f) all sensors should have a resistance of between 11.7-14.3 ohms (+B and HT) if not between them figures replace sensor Steve, *edit* just been out today, had a look, all mine are single wire sensors, so , info not really much use, looks like usa and uk cars have different ones on

    well my cam belt hasnt been change in 6 years and about 60 odd ish thousand miles .(current mileage 121.000 ish) reason why i asked about the tensioner, is i was looking on flea bay at gs300 stuff and found a cam belt with tensioner, so thought you changed them at the same time as a matter of cource. i had a mk3 supra before this and people always said go genuine, but mainly im more worried about the calipers tbh, :), i dont like the smell

    well its finally happened. after 3 years of not spending owt on the lex, my calipers have given up the ghost. front drivers caliper has locked on, has any one got the part number for a caliper seal kit for a mk1 '300?. (front and rear) i suppose lex and toyota will be the same, and thinking about it the toyota one should be a damn side cheaper :) plus ive to change the cam belt aswell, do you recomend genuine lex/toyota on that, and should i get the tensioner aswell, or not bother? ta lads Steve

    450 miles craig is alot better than me, , its like just under 1/2 i get 200 miles then it seems to drop like a stone, and i drive like an old man i think ill def get a new one of these. might even help the slight erratic running i got aswell (everything else OK plugs N stuff)

    where are they on a mk1?, had a look can only find on that looks sorto like it on the exhaust manifold i think mines drinking alot of fuel 150 miles to half o tank, (mileage 120 odd thousand) Steve

    Hi Dave, you know i cant go a anywhere :) so a ls eh , very big and luxury cars them, not as fast as the mk3 T , but its something you give up for the cumfort. any whoo, get some pics up , lets all have a look and welcome to the club OH carefull on some of the people in here, there a bit weird ;)

    Hmm,. is it just me or sticking large exhausts on a gs is wrong?. putting lets say a nice new tip on em or a exhaust that has just roughly got the same size pipe but any bigger, :( just doesnt look right NOOOOOOOOOO im getting OLD !!!!!! Steve

    dont you have auto and full switch on the stalk? ignition on , put em on full and they lift out from under the bonnet

    na i dont wave or flash at other lex drivers,. only cos i dont see any gs300's round these parts :) used to flash my lights when i had the mk3 supra as they were rare aswell, but by the time the lights had "popped up" the moment had gone , so dont bother now :)

    thinking , couldnt you find the code for the transponder we got in allready and program 2 keys that way? and maybe get some keys from the US, we can program?
