  1. Controls for the sat nav system.
  2. Did you not drive the ISF? Agree on the IS250C- nice car to pose in but it is sluggish.
  3. I buy the bog standard Halfords own brand screenwash- 5 litre can.
  4. The LS and the GS are aimed at the US markets- them Americans love all that bling.
  5. If you are trading in the IS200 just on the comfort factor then why not go for the GS300?
  6. I recently attended a Lexus Open Road event in Leeds and I test drove both the LS600h and GS450h- both cars were on a 10 plate. LS600h: GS450h:
  7. I don't these struts fitted to my car, but you can buy them from the US from a company called FIGS Engineering.
  8. Sounds like a nice car Azza, why not post some pics up?
  9. Can't decide between the Sport and LE grill- I'd probably go for the Sport grill minus the badges, keep it nice and clean.
  10. I'm in Yorkshire mate- petrol is a bit cheaper "oop north" :)
  11. Well £40 of fuel (currently @113.9) get me 220-240 miles- this is a combination of dual carriage and town driving.
  12. Ormi is right- the finance company would either want the money (outstanding finance/balance) or the car in the event of non payment of the outstanding finance- it doesn't matter who is the registered keeper. A family member bought a car a few years ago with outstanding finance on. The previous owner (who my family member bought the car from) told my family member they would settle the outstanding finance with the finance co- they didn't and the finance co came to my family member to reclaim the car.
  13. IS200, Altezza (even a IS300) are all great cars as long as you can stomach the fuel bills.
  14. As well as Mintex discs/pads Blueprint items are also good.
  15. To those who test drove the ISF- did they let you test drive it on your own or not? I went to the Lexus Leeds Open Road Event last month and when people asked to drive the ISF they were accompanied by someone from Lexus- I guess they didn't want their ISF coming back with 4 bold tyres!
  16. That's ok for you to say, but what if you fail to settle the outstanding finance with Honda finance (not saying you would) and the new owner takes the car? Honda finance would be knocking on the new owners door in order to reclaim the car. If I was buying your car I'd settle the outstanding balance directly with Honda finance and any monies remaining would be paid to you.
  17. WTF going on there? That paintjob is so messed up, no way that car is worth what they are asking for with that crappy 2 tone effort.
  18. Parts from Lexus Birmingham's ebay shop are genuine/OEM parts like you would buy from your local Lexus dealer. Bought an item from them sometime ago (genuine cargo net). You will get a proper dealership invoice with your grille.
  19. I'd go for the IS300- that 3.0 engine combined with the 1st gen IS looks would seal the deal for me.
  20. Use Photobucket to host your pics mate.
  21. All Lexus alloys corrode- that's a fact. They don't put enough laquer on them in the factory, so in the winter when they put down all that salt and grit it starts to corrode the alloys. Your best best is to have the OEM Lexus ones refurbished by someone like Pristine- they will do a good job of refurbising the alloys as they will coat them with hard wearing laquer.
  22. If the headgasket has gone then it might be cheaper/better to get a 2nd hand engine from a write off IS200?
  23. I guess the new buyer of the VW would settle the balance with the finance company directly- and you will get any cash that's leftover (once the balance with the finance company has been settled first).
  24. Have you tried selling it back to a Honda dealer? Worth a try? You could put it up here for sale, but you would need to buy a gold membership/pack first.
  25. Lexus will sort you out- I bought a 65Ah battery from Lexus Leeds 2 years ago for £45.
