  1. i want to know how he gets the bubbles to you..................do you have to have really special packaging for that? This guy looks so dodgy he could win a dodgeball competition
  2. even manly onions have layers................... :D :D :D :D thought of some more, and funnily enough they are all based on father/son relationships...................knights tale, contact (ok that was a daughter ) i`m now off to kill some innocent animals, build a fire and talk about tanks
  3. theres that ad on tv at the moment with lots of celebs/actors etc saying their favourite word.......... Sarah Beenys from Property Ladder is "Moist"......................................oh yes  So whats yours?
  4. What about Glory???????????????? Has me in floods :D
  5. Myself and my bro were having this conversation about Gladiator, after I put the film on the other night to cheer myself up.............. I forgot about that ruddy ending, and ended up with full blown chin wobble :D That got me to thinking-----what films or tv moments make the menfolk out here upset enough to have to fake the "i`m having a yawn moment to cover the fact tears are escaping, and i don`t want the wife to know i`m not emotionless". E.t. of course is the other one, but then having kids and seeing that Documentary the other night on the little girl without a face------well i`m glad the wife works nights, 'cos i had to turn it off!! And before you ask i`m a 6ft,15st, rugby lovin,is200 drivin, chav thumper-----who eats bricks...............for pudding.
  6. The maximum speed limit may be 70mph on many public roads in the UK but there are lots of other places that you can legally drive above this speed. In the UK there are of course private tracks and roads, many of which I know are used by forum members. Then there's the likes of the Isle of Man and the Continent where you can quite legally take your UK bought car and drive at much faster speeds than 70mph. ← thats a fair point, however virtually all cars on british roads can break the maximum speed limit, but what percentage of those cars will ever see european driving, let alone a track day? my car will never go on a track quite simply because of the insurance hike to cover the damage, and the fact that i`ll cry like a big girl if i binned it (i`ve been in 1 too many m/bike accidents to ever enjoy the sound of glassplasticmetal hitting tarmac!). and besides, that age old argument between kids: "well why is he allowed to do it?" doesn`t negate the fact that if all car engines were restricted, you could get a special licence/permission etc to delimit if on a track etc. And that would be so much more easier to bureaucratically manage than policing millions of people potentially breaking the speed limit every second they are in the car!!! :duh:
  7. or i could run naked around MK shopping centre shouting "look here comes Mr GAy maggot willie, won`t you cover me in jam?" for a similar level of embarrasment and discomfort :D :D :D
  8. need some help please from those fotoshop artists amongst LOC. I`m using arcsoft photostudio, this is similar to fs...it has layers, clone, smudge etc. trying to superimpose a larger sized facial picture, lets call that me, onto a smaller full body pic of someone else, lets call him aragorn (the wife has a thing about him, and i want to freak her out somewhat!!!! :D ) what is the best procedure, bearing in mind i almost blew a gasket trying to work with layers, which should be simple but seems to end in mass confusion. i know how to use most tools, but i can`t get it nearly as peachy as Niraj did with that chrome effect rav4!! I end up with white/black spaces, or it looking "stuck on", ie not natural. there must be some sort of knack or procedure i`m missing. help greatly appreciated, and i may even post the result......................after erasing my embarrassment :D
  9. I wouldn't as it would give them the impression that they rule society, and to be honest if you do that i think it shows weakness on your part, though i can see how the elderly/young mums would think this way. As long as they dont bother me/family/people i know, i wont bother them. ← i`d love to be able to get some of those rose tints you`ve got :D i`m a sizeable fella, 6ft, 15 st, partly psychotic, but what about the chap in the news the past couple of days whose in hospital fighting for his life? all it takes is a bit of false bravado in front of chav mates and a concealed knife, and it won`t matter how big you are. I`m sure SF will be able to supply real statistics of increasing assault with weapons, and basically violent crime on the increase.
  10. you ain`t too shabby at this photoshop malarkey, clever lad, i`m impressed. i should leave off Rome total war and maybe learn some of its functionality! :D
  11. as i made mention earlier its a uniform, its camouflage. imagine a scenario where a group of youths is hanging on a street corner dressed in their chav clothes...............would you fell intimidated, unsafe and move to avoid them? Course you would. Now the same scenario, but them all dressed in dapper suits----completely different atmosphere!!!!!!!!!!!!! then take that scenario further and have them discussing Plato, a cure for cancer, or adding value, instead of their hos, beatches, or wotevas. they want respect? they ought to try that and see what happens :D and while i`m in this dream world i`d like a million pounds and a recovered Kylie Minogue. its a major shame that you can`t transfer diseases from australian pop princesses to hoody wearing :tsktsk:
  12. i think thats the problem with the Lexus brand now, they are not as "revolutionary" as they were when the different models appeared. think 1989 when it caught out bm/merc with cost leadership think rx when it stormed the suv market. now all the other brands have caught up, the playing field has levelled somewhat. nissan has undergone major strategic change and under their new boss is making massive gains in sales and credibility. its all swings and roundabouts in the car industry though, and surprisngly the next revolution may come from the new ford!!!! :yack:
  13. You do expect good service when you splash out £50k for a car but it's always nice when your expectations are actually met and in this case exceeded. Good grief............do you perchance need a beatch???????????!!!!!!! Makes you wonder who the parent group is for Oxford, because that seems to determine the level of service.
  14. no style, no finesse, no class. sheep like mentality. the only people who can get away with it are boxers. but as you quite rightly point out, its the associated look, attitude and stupid looking swagger that makes the hoody wearers look so crass. In the MK Citizen this week on the front cover is the pics of two thugs just been found guilty of murdering a "friend", by beating him to death, leaving 99 injuries---they jumped on his head. But what was really striking was the fact that they would have looked completely out of place in a suit........they looked like how you would expect a chav-like no- hoper-in-life to look like, all completed by the hoody!!!!! The hoody is a uniform. :shutit: :yack:
  15. well the cameras etc are a "result" of the speeding, but instead of spending all that money installing kit, changing road designs, filling up courts, prisons, costs involved with investigating crashes, costs involved with life insurances/repairs/ambulances and so on ad infinitum, would it not be easier just to limit engines??????? :duh: :duh: lets face it, there is no justifiable cause for going any speed anything over the limit, it may save a few seconds and feel cool but its not necessary---so where the F*** is the law banning these engines????????????????????????????????????? Its just not logical or right, but thats the stupidity inherent in this whole crusade!! And yes of course i speed, but appropriately :winky: Utter Utter madness.
  16. "I can't help but see the irony that those that brought this prosecution are those very people who have purchased cars that go at this speed..." And there gentlemen is the real crux of the arguement.................if the authorities were REALLY serious about saving lives or stopping speeding, cars would have limited engines. So its not a philanthropic law, just a revenue generator that is applied to the majority but not to the "special licence to drive really fast, flout the law and not be associated with the commoner" types that get away with it. But its the same illogic applied everywhere---------smoking kills so many but is legal drinking kills so many but is legal the top speed limit in the uk is 70mph but non-supercars can go double that So does it matter that he got away with, given the rampant stupidity everywhere else? phew, rant over, viva la revolution
  17. just read about this one.............. in the next 2 years, TARDEC, which is basically an AMerican tank research facility, will be adding an upgrade to the MPH used on the battlefront. MPH is a mobile parts factory that literally makes missing/broken parts for vehicles in the field from computers that then control autolathes/welders etc. However this new upgrade uses a printer Called LENs. This printer deposits a fine path of powdered steel in 3-D, which a trailing laser then fuses together, layer by layer at a rate of 3.5 cubic inches per hour, which then creates a new part!!!!!!!!!!1 do you remeber that scene from the 5th element film where they rebuild Mila from a recovered hand? Well they`ll br doing that for machinery, and its all part of a process now known as desktop manufacturing-------Star Trek is almost here!!
  18. go on then, give me a laugh--------how much? and do they spin like your avatar do? if so just think of the chav damage!!
  19. see, thats where you`re going wrong??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! that`s far too sensible an idea for anybody to ever implement it!!! i don`t know next you`ll be asking for the hunting of chavs to be legalised or the reduction of community tax
  20. just for a laugh and as a "control" experiment................ wear a suit+tie, maybe some spectacles and listen to something like radio 2. see how many times you get pulled then :D
  21. I`m not the one listening? I briefly mentioned that they use too much fuel weight for weight, which is true. Yet the entire rest of my diatribe was focussed on the appropriateness of their size on british roads. Lorries and buses are necessary for transport.imagine if we all got one. I know in crouchend it would completely jam up! I didn`t claim to be an environmentalist; i don`t have long hair, hug trees or eat seaweed. I`m a realist. But people who raise these issues are always shot down by the people who shout louder and more aggressivley. By 2007 Britain will be a net importer of energy.Fact. Has that got anything to do with 4x4s as raised by the initial thread? Indirectly, yes. Its an attitude thats prevalent in this country of ignoring what you don`t want to hear, because it either doesn`t affect you or you think somebody else will sort it. Think impending pensions crisis, think societal discipline, think energy usage etc. Do i claim to be a saint and all 4x4 owners sinners, when i drive an Is200? Of Course Not. Do I wish people would wake up an smell the coffee? Of Course.
  22. See, just as I predicted, the usual "if they did this" etc. If people actually read posts and not glance at them, they would have understood that 1)I know i`m also culpabable driving a 2litre car. 2)it`s about appropriateness. There will soon be 3 Nuke reactors left in Britain. Renewable energy will acount for <10% of energy requirements in the UK in 15years. It is now accepted by the Government, and business, let alone environmentalists that NS oil runs out in 15years, and we will be importing 90-95% oil and gas from OPEC, as well as a new monopoly formed by the gas producing countries of iran, russia, SArabia--this new body will also set prices as opec does. So all we need is another irritated Arab with an issue and we`re b**gered. I think that Electricity advert is the best yet; individuals saying it doesn`t matter, but collectively :o . What gets me more than anything is the "head in the sand, somebody else needs to sort it, so i don`t care attitude". And before you start shooting the messenger, yes i am doing something about it, our car isn`t used that much, we walk most places, we recycle, the house is fully insulated, and we`re also going to be going off at the deep end by going self-sufficient soon!!!!!!! :o :o :shutit: Now go back and read the threads properly, and open your eyes to what the government isn`t telling you!!!
  23. i`m still trying to decide who will win between Juggernaut and The Incredible Hulk
  24. ALSO: tractors/caravans/people who cant reach the pedals not pulling over to let that long queue behind them clear............ lorries/buses just changing lane suddenly anybody faster/richer than me people who don't "overtake" on a motorway, but cruise as slow as possible past people. people who pull into the safe distance gap people who can`t judge the width of their cars. people who "drift" on roundabouts----oh the fun of that in MK!!!!!! humans in automobiles :yack:
